This'll be the first time since DDQ started that I'll be able to stockpile the tokens. Don't need a single cover this week. Woot!0

Why would you stockpile tokens? They don't disappear? If it has to do with the even/odd stuff, I barely understand it.0 -

I am with ya brother, those little bastards and their strike tiles! they always seem to fall just out of reach, my normal squad of xf, 2hor, obw barely made it because of them and a somewhat bad board - obw down in the second round, xf limped out of the third round with 108 health, 2hor was an absolute savior, I was lucky enough to stack ap in the 3rd and let loose on round 4 without them even getting a turn. Tons of purple tiles so xf's black wiped him out, 2 shots from 2hor's green and ai xf went down, then just wailed on Gorgan...my 1st Hulk black cover so it was worth it
as for stockpiling tokens, I am not sure if it increases the odds. I have read that it does and that it does not. some people do it because they do not have enough roster slots, others because they do not need anything. from personal experience if you stock tokens it seems as though you have better odds because it is not a 1-by-1 disappointment with event tokens, pull 2-3 junk and maybe get a gold/ needed cover. Same goes for standard tokens but I have found that it follows the same formula. I usually stock about 150 or so before I cash them in and about every 20th or 30th gives a gold token, not to say this is guaranteed but my results have been that way the last few times I did it.0 -

I was running 3 maxed 2* (Thor, OBW and CStorm) and I got beat in the 3rd round by the Konran. The ninjas were demolishing me. The second my Thor got defeated, I knew it was over. I also really need a another black cover Hulk too0 -
ok, really need this hulk black, but wiped x3 today.. i know they fixed the ninja bug, but did they buff them as well? I don't remember round 1 ninjas doing over 2k damage on their countdown tiles....
Edit: they haven't fixed the ninjas yet, not until next release.. so oops on that. I did finally beat it, some lucky cascades got me enough blue for OBW.. I think i make this same post every week on the ninja round.. i hate that thing.0 -

It will help you a lot when you get almost everything covered. In the first five weeks of this third-cover run, I think I need three of the rewards. You spend your tokens here, and you may end up with lots of covers that you already have.
Instead, save up and spend in a spot where you might need half of the covers.
Or, when you are really covered (I've never had a round that could give me more than 5 covers total of the 15 possible you could pull), save up for that new character. Iron Fist is really strong, but the rewards given for him are really far apart. By saving tokens, you'll be able to increase your chances to get him covered more quickly, without having to buy his covers with HP.
All that said - I have a team-mate that has almost every character fully covered, and is an obsessive token opener, simply cannot stand to have an unopened token.0 -

the cd tiles were doing around 1200 if I remember correctly and the strike's were doing like 130 dmg each, I got lucky by being able to knock some out with matches and had lots of black for xf so I was able to wipe their tiles out, same with konran on round 3...those ninja's though surely set the stage for epic fails. some people use a stun ability on them before wiping them out so they do not produce tiles I don' t have anyone on my roster even remotely close to strong enough to take on that ride (2* & 3* Cap), my Falcon is not up to snuff as I only have 3 blue covers (until tomorrow hehe), I have heard Loki is good but mine is not strong enough yet to test out on that node.0 -

I think they scale. For me they were doing 2024 damage on round 1, then the meteoric's on round 3 were over 3k each.0 -

I open event tokens almost immediately but I hoard the std tokens cuz I like the rush of cashing in so many at a time and I have had pretty good success but it is tough sometimes to resist the urge I really enjoy the lightening rounds as you can amass huge amounts with little effort.0 -

What is your level range when you enter The Big Enchilada? I leveled up some characters yesterday, now it shows level 99-132, i thought round one used to be lower.0 -

I think it was always that range but not sure, mine is also 99-132 but I noticed lately that the goons seem to have been slightly buffed from what they were about a month ago, hard to say at this point but could have been part of a silent update or something....either way, ninja's suck0 -
happy birthday bluey, just noticed that0

I ran 118-ish Black Panther/Level 130 Iron Fist/166 3*Thor. You can definitely choose a better team but really, Thor is just here for cascade AP/damage.
You might say "well your thor is 166, of course it's easy!" that is true. But I'm honestly not relying on Thor - I rely on > with Thor's / / as a bonus.
Get at least 5 purple AP during goon nodes. Try to save AP for non-goon nodes but don't be afraid of using it if you have to to avoid damage. Once you're off of goon nodes, keep making Rage of the Panthers happen until they're dead.
I think I had like....50+ black AP in that last node, cast Rage of the Panther 5-6 times.
It almost feels like I'm playing Magstorm again0 -

Max AP is 30..., unless you are counting casting IF a few times0 -
Went into the BE worrying about the ninjas, but decided to not let them psyche me out, considering my general lack of skill atm and subsequent odds for failure.
Three strike tiles managed to proc (wave 1), and by wave 4 I was in (jittery anxious shaky) cruise control.
The BE I (2*-2hor/cStorm/OBW) faced was 99-132.
Every time I choose cStorm's as opposed to 2hor, I feel like I'm blowing it, but it works! Thank almighty ba-jeezus for the forum!
