Hi all;

Just wanted to let you know about a little tidying up I'm doing on the forums to make things a bit easier to find/read, especially the stickied topics that are never going away. Effective immediately I will be turning these in to "Announcement" type topics like the forum rules one that I made in the Alliances forum. This will bring those topics that have always been, and always will be, important for people to be able to easily find to the top of the forum and grouped together. I'm hoping that this makes for a better overall forum experience.

As always, we're open to suggestions on how to make the forums better and this change actually comes from some comments made by others about the number of stickied topics in some forums. I look forward to your feedback.

  • Thanks for the effort. It seems a bit silly to post this as the first reply but if, in your cleaning travels, you happen to find a post from WAAAY back which was basically fanfic that someone wrote (it had each of the characters saying something clever and made fun of Bagman), could you let me know? I've been looking for that for awhile...

    (Probably should PM you but I think the value of the writing is worth preserving...)

    As someone who really enjoyed Bluey's silly write-ups for DDQ from a few cycles ago, please share this story if you can find it again. Either PM me or zombie the thread. Thanks.

    I remember the thread(s), but I can't remember the author. I'll ask around though.

    HAH, the line... Steve Rogers blushes... if you have seen Age of Ultron.. this is magical.

    It's a little thing, but one thing I'd like to see more of is moving threads to the proper sub-forum. Complaints of Ultron server issues appeared in "General", duplicating conversations in "Bugs & Issues", is one example. "Suggestions & Feedback" is usually pretty quiet, but there is lots of these sorts of threads in General that might get more attention over there.

    Personally, I try to move threads when I notice them, but I am not online 24x7 and don't read all threads when I am. If you see something that you think should be addressed, click on the report button in the top left of the post and we'll be notified of it and address it appropriately.

    Suggestions and Feedback, like Bugs & Issues, is where threads go to die, alone, unmourned and unloved. A thread in Suggestions gets less than a tenth of the views and comments that the same thread gets in General. So, yes threads might get more attention over there, but history would say otherwise.

    It's not attention from the players I refer to. Were I a dev (designer, product mgr, etc.) for Demiurge, that seems like a simple place to go with less noise than the general forums, and where I would focus what attention I could spare.
