What determines what AP the minions will get?
I know that main villains will get AP for matching tiles but how do you determine what the minions get because they don't match tiles? I'm finding it really difficult to beat some of these minions and would like to be able to strategies and pick which tiles to match if it would help stop the minions from laying down a count down tile.

Minions who does not match tiles generete AP themselfs. You can only stop them by stunning or ap-stealing.0

Each minion generates a set number of ap in the colors they use every turn they aren't stunned.
I personally love using the Hood with these guys. If they are generating blue (like some of the maggia) and I can keep 9 on the board I can steal one every single turn, it's great to combo with Magneto's blue0 -
I really hated the recent PVE missions when they paired the mutant who generates red with Ares, its so annoying when you think your playing well and denying red, and then eat a rampage out of nowhere!0

It was pretty common in pve -- lieutenant giving purple to Venom, grenadier green to ragnarok and so on -- you faced a tough choice who to get rid of and limited in denial. They also share the AP pool, the 10 green for a rocket is created way faster with 2 or even 3 adding his production.0 -
I think stun is necessary against the dark avengers + hammer/maggie team.
I don't need to stun the non- dark avengers, I just save a stun when the dark avengers can cast serious damaging skill, like head butt - the top killer move, sunder - the second damaging, devour - the next one in line and proton blast - the next one.
The other hammer / maggie usually create count down tile when dark avengers get stunned. With anti gravity device, it's usually enough time to take down the dark avengers.
Minions usually generate 2 ap of their colors per turn.0 -
I think the snipers make more sense. They don't generate or need AP. They just put down a countdown tile. When thwarted, they try again. While it would get chaotic with everyone doing it, I think with high enough coundown tiles, it could work. It just seems that if matching is a superhero thing, AP should be the same way.0

Thanks very much for the info guys!0
