Using DDQ tokens

So recently I had about 20 tokens stockpiled for this last even week. Used them and only got 1 3*. I noticed that the stockpiled odd tokens I had felt like they had a better chance at the 3* characters. Can anyone confirm or if it's even a thing, that stockpiled tokens have a higher chance at getting the designated 3*'s that week rather than spending them that initial week, not stockpiled?

If it doesn't make sense I'll try and clarify further, if needed.

    Probably confirmation bias? Sounds like you just had a bad run, which happens from time to time.
