Hey everyone. So after seeing a list of all the PvP events, I thought it would be a cool idea to create a list of all the PvE events, and have plot summaries and videos for each one. For a summary of the actual events themselves (number of subs, length, boosted characters), please see the thread in the tips section (although it may be outdated after the recent changeup in PvE lengths). http://www.d3go.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=14484

Prologue

Plot: Norman Osborne convinces the World Security Council to turn over the SHIELD building and assets to him and his new group, HAMMER. It turns out he's assembled a group of villains called the Dark Avengers.

Unstable Iso-8

Plot: It turns out there's a red variant of ISO-8 that is even more powerful and unstable. SHIELD and the Avengers race HAMMER and the Dark Avengers around the world, each trying to identify and capture caches of red ISO-8 first.

The Hunt

Plot: HAMMER and the Dark Avengers try to kidnap Nick Fury, chasing him to SHIELD bases in Alaska, Florida, and finally cornering him in the Savage Land. But Nick has a surprise for them...

The Hulk

Plot: SHIELD and HAMMER both want to recruit the Hulk, but Hulk has plans of his own. SHIELD discovers Osborne has a hit list, and Punisher is on it. In return, Punisher decides he's got a hit list too, and all the Dark Avengers and Osborne are on it. Though he's foiled in his bid to add Hulk, Osborne says he's got Victoria Hand working for him.

Thick as Thieves

Plot: The Dark Avengers help a prison break, and capture some of the mutants in the prisons. They super-power them with ISO-8. Meanwhile, there is a lot of chaos caused, and involvement of the Maggia goons. In the end, the Hood is determined to be the leader, and has a meeting with Magneto and Osborne. Magneto seems to want to work with the Hood and Osborne to make the mutants stronger for a revolution. In the end, Nick Fury decides to let Magneto escape.

Iso-8 Brotherhood

Plot: Magneto has been working with Osborne, but it turns out Osborne is the one experimenting with ISO-8 on mutants. Magneto quits and comes over to SHIELD to help free his mutant brethren and stop the experiments, but is he on the level? Fury recruits telepath Psylocke to find out, but then he gets kidnapped by Doctor Doom, who's also working with Osborne in a new group called the Cabal.

Prodigal Sun

Plot: Osborne tries to get Sentry to come work for him by sending the Dark Avengers to fight the Maggia and promising to help him control the Void. When Punisher shows up on the scene, acting on his own accord, Moonstone convinces Sentry that he was sent by SHIELD to kill Sentry. Sentry and Daken team up to raze SHIELD bases all over the world, culminating in a showdown at Thunderbolt Mountain, where Sentry chooses sides once and for all.

Enemy of the State

Plot: Wolverine gets kidnapped by the Hand Ninja, and is brainwashed. Elektra works with the X-men, the Avengers, and Daredevil to stop Wolverine and fix him. In the process, Elektra is kidnapped herself, but Wolverine is freed. In the end, it turns out Elektra wasn't brainwashed, and Wolverine works together with Elektra and Daredevil to stop the Hand and Gorgon from taking over SHIELD.

Deadpool vs MPQ

Plot: Deadpool wants to steal some ISO-8, and goes around beating everyone up to get it!

Hearts of Darkness

Plot: A portal to Hell is opened up, and the heroes try to find a way to close it.

Plot: Howard the Duck and Spider-Man team up.

Plot: Dr. Strange must recover several magical artifacts in order to save alternate realities and defeat Kaecilius!

Thanks. I am going to update this thread as they replay each old PvE. I might make videos of each PvE story screens as well, if there is enough interest. No one really seemed to care about my first run of Enemy of the State though, so I don't know if its worth all the work if no one cares. Feel free to write your own stories or post your own video links below and I will edit my post to include them.

This topic is going to incorporate the work already done by in the thread at viewtopic.php?f=20&t=5721 and replace it. Thanks to M for all of his great work while he was still active and I'm happy to see others picking up the torch.

I really like this thread as a summary of the various event stories. It would be cool if this was stickied/announced as well in the Events area for reference.
