I can't even compete my first mission is nearly twice my characters level it has been like this for me nearly the whole tourney - which really blows.

new top is 53k for me, but i jumped up 5k points in just 4 battles ^_^

I think in mine we went higher. I finished either 3rd or 4th and I had 55-56k. The top must have had around 300-500 more.
