Confusion on Brackets and Levels
I've noticed people have mentioned Brackets in regards to ranking, as well as level/fighting 230 enemies.
How is the latter possible? Is it based off of some form of bracket, or what kind of characters you have? I ask because I've been playing for maybe two weeks, and I am finshing in the Top 10-25 in most of the current PvE events (And looking at finishing in the Top 50 overall for Thick as Thieves)... I've yet to see higher than 105-110 level enemies, and that's usually the hardest fight in the event.
Maybe it's related to the fact I haven't played for long?
Except for buying a few Roster slots I haven't spent money on the game, nor have I finished the Prologue. My highest character is currently a Level 38 OBW, and I'd like to understand how people are seeing Level 230 enemies. o.O

When did you join the event? Maybe they adjusted something after Sunday?
I have to tank a million times to get reasonable fights. Only benefit at the moment is one of the people who were most dedicated to beating my score made his move 4 hours early for some reason so hes probably out of the top 10.0 -
Well what level did they start at?
I started the event when it first started, and admittedly I depended mostly on the teamups at first to get through the first day. At the time I was still depending on Level 20-25 Black Widow, Storm, and Iron Man/Venom (1 star versions for all), so I admittedly wasn't making it past most of the Muscle fights easily. But over the past few days (And thanks to doing really well during one of the events) I've acculumated a Patch Wolverine, OBW, and boosted my Classic Storm to about Level 30.
I'm not trying to brag (I just discovered that Health Packs regenerate the other day - I NEVER use them because I didn't realize that they did (so I never had less than the max... I am very much so a new player still), it's just that I really want to understand how people are even SEEING people 150+, much less 230.0 -
Nah when did you join the event. Do the first mission in the main bracket.0

I suspect people with weak heroes might see slower growth in enemy levels.0

Within the first 6 hours of the event. I mean, I don't think I'm doing anything different. I found out Tuesday about the 8 hour timers for points refreshing (before I had a big "**** 1 point" moment), so I've adjusted since. Otherwise my strategy has been "log on once or twice a day, fight till my main heroes die/I don't have a lot of health packs/I complete all the avaliable fights, use the rest as fodder to bring down levels, log off". Nothing special or strategic except starting with the hardest fights first.
Speaking of, why is the first mission "Heavily Guarded" given four rewards, but can't be repeated?0 -

This could explain why it seems ppl with such low lvls are scoring high maybe. It could be just more mistakes on the devs part and enemies are scaling to a max based on something else like mmr or something. Problem is with the way brackets are you benefit from not lvling anything that way which is counterproductive from a business standpoint. I don't even think the idea is necessarily bad/wrong. They need to change bracketing to link ppl via lvls of something then as it IS good to make the game playable for low lvls.0 -
That's all I can think of. I don't know if the term "tanking" is when you retreat/lose to lower the levels, but I figured that was a pretty obvious strategy (I discovered it on this forum)... Otherwise maybe it does scale based on your highest heroes or the like?
I think an obvious balance issue is that the highest Hero level sounds like it's 85, but the highest enemy level is 230+. That's... really stupid.0
