new slice times suck by the way. need one within 3 hours of my lunch time so I can make on push and shield and not one option there. 12pm (to early) and 5pm (too late). this is central time. no idea what the rest were - they didn't have any for the lunch crowd.

Beast rewards followed by Doc Ock rewards. Good thing they run these at the beginning of the season, or no one would play them.

Would anyone care to peek at my current roster (see link in sig) and see who I should be sticking with Beast? Usually I don't have a lot of trouble finding at least vaguely complementary partners, but he's a little odd.

Quick edit: My roster as-is - I don't have any ISO to max someone else right now.

I'm intending to try out Beast with Hood and Deadpool. Actives on all colours, and a Deadpool protected Hood is annoying on defence. Only gripe is that it's not a fast enough team for hopping. Well there's always the "Push Me" button when things comes to a crutch. Just tried out a few games, pleasantly surprised that Beast blue does not kill himself anymore.

Can't wait for the weekly buffs to rotate out. Absolutely sick of all the Cyclops-Thors everywhere at the top.

This is more interesting than the last Beast event.

Back then, Beast was inconsequential, and 4Thor and XForce were all-powerful. The high-end teams were quite predictable.

Now, I'm seeing teams built around Beast. His Blue and Green are pretty good now. The souped-up Cyclops seems to be his best buddy at the moment, covering all colors but Purple.

Kamala? Great, I have her maxed and like using her. Means I wouldn't bother with Beast's green though. "Anyone overpowered"? You mean powered up, or just whatever current consensus on "overpowered" is? Be honest, did you read my whole question and take into account the roster I have?

Toss in blade, more strike tiles in case you get beasts blue to go off a few times.

first, you're way ahead of me in the game so I'm not sure how much help i'll be but you have so many 166s, with beast and the next one with doc ock, I'd just treat it like a 2 on 2 match like most everyone else. yogi's team composition guide mentions grocket or storm but they both overlap green, so not sure there. if you want to use his abilities, you could pair deadpool with Cyclops - no real synergy but rainbow abilities forcing your blue/green to be beasts. can't go wrong with Lthor/loki, but again, it would be a 2 on 2 and beast only a blue outlet.

Ok, u want more? Beast takes you into negatives. Therefore, you need positives. How much more positive can you get than OP?

I don't need to see your characters to tell you what the current metagame is.

"Overpowered" is a term in games talking about characters who are a cut above the rest.

I was asking for ideas as to complimentary partners, not ones that make him irrelevant to have in the fight. If you're not willing to bother, why try and answer the question?

wow. last pvp was relatively dead - not a lot of action. I cant stay up at 500 here. made it over 600 last night but down to 437 now. never thought there'd be so much fighting over otto. still #56 but that might change later today towards the end. I refuse to spend hp shielding for beast or dr.ock. next one for blade will be very different I'm sure.

At the upper end, is anyone else experiencing a barren wasteland of PvP points? The only targets for me are worth 10-15 and I'm 940ish atm. It's really hard to make a 'hop' much less a 'jump' when the game only allows you to crawl...
