list of low lvl players scoring high in pve

This isnt a witch hunt, and I won't even say they are cheating (let others come to thier own conclusions) but to help consolidate some of the help tickets coming in I would just like to make a thread for ppl to place the names of.these low lvl players so that the devs have a quick list to go down if they so choose. Thus isn't about thinking so and so cheated because he is scoring too fast. This is just a list for the devs to go down. I sent a ticket as well, as I suggest everyone do, but the point here isn't a guess what ppl.are or are nit doing. Just anybody placing High with a low team.

Example of what I am talking about:

Not an example:
guy with lvl 50 spidey , 60 wolverine, 35 thor, lvl 40 storm, 60 ares, 20 patch, base everything else. It is up to your discretion who you post.

I would also appreciate just responses with the names of the players and nothing more as this is just a list for the devs in case they don't respond well due to all the tickets coming in recently probably.

    Mr. Awesome
    Battlebaca
    Cards
    Rrawwr
    Ryukage
    Cosby
  • I would like my name not up for consideration for this, despite the fact that i'm probably going to be top 2 in my tier and I'm rocking some mid level guys like:

    85 OBW
    69 Wolvie
    56 Rags
    36 Patch

I don't cheat, I just play alot. Thank you.

    I kinda like Battlebaca's name
  • I made a post in the thick as thieves forum details some rosters I felt were suspect, I left names out specifically just in case I was wrong about them. If you post someone's name and they're legit, you could give them a rather bad stigma around the forums (like the case w/thereck).
  • I do well with mid-lower level teams and cheaters are as bad as thieves in my book.

Do you predict where your tiles will fall? Do you thinks moves ahead. Do you have a strategy when playing?

If you aren't doing these things and moving tiles without much thought like a casual puzzle game that is why you aren't doing well.

Rubber banding seems to be really heavily in play, because literally everyone in the top 10 in my last few brackets hasn't had a single character above level 50, and mostly 1* to boot. Either cheaters outnumber regular players, or somehow people are getting similar points to my full clears without doing the 3x 230 fights :'(

Notably suspicious exceptions though were a couple players with only levelled chars are 60 ** Wolvie + 50 * Storm, but somehow winning multiple tournaments to get **** invisible woman/wolverine covers, multiple patch, etc

I have hit first using a 1* character. How you build a team and play it is paramount to your success. Every tile drop is crucial one mistake can cripple you from going on. How you build your roster also dictates how you will perform. I play unconventionally from the normal mode of thinking I see given in most advice threads. I got some character advice to start with and then built my own strategy of what works and made sure I could play continuously through the day.

I love outside-the-box thinking on these games. I wish more people like you would post in the Tips and Tricks forum...

In pvp or the pve events?
  • I am talking about players with 1 character over 20 and they are only lvl 25...or battlebaca whose only lvled character was a sub 15 obw. I am talking about a list of very very low lvls not mid lvl players.

This isn't suppose to be a conversation, just a list. If you don't conserse then there are no preconceived notions. If d3 locks the thread then great..because I know they actually looked at it. If they want to tell us they botched the event and somehow ppl are getting all lvl 1 enemies at least that is info. That is all this is..info for the devs. This is thier forum afterall. Maybe there is a better place to put it, but nobody looks through anything but character and general discussion. If I could delete all your posts because none of them listed names ruining the use of the thread I would, no offense. Again, not a discussion..just a list.

Would you care to elaborate? 1* do not have healer. How do you play all day long?

That roster is definitely doable. The top placers in my bracket are using non-max IM35s and m.Storms.

Sorry looked like it was including midlevels to me. I hate cheaters but some people get suspicious easy.

Still want to know if you're beating 230x3 teams with 1*s, rubberbanding is heavily favoring low players enough that you don't need to, or you're talking about pvp at a low mmr icon_razz.gif
  • Nah cant beat that. The latest batch of PVE events are **** not worth trashing my teams to compete in them. Soon as they scale up past twice my level I am done and sometimes I don't go past deadly. They last batch I went pretty high in Alaska my teams were around 35-40 I only couldn't do the last two missions.

    Ahh, okay
Yeah, the ones I'm finding really weird are people scoring top 5 in thick as thieves without a single char over lvl 40

Somebody was saying in another thread if you lose intentionally enough times that it will reset to trivial. I am not sure what the return rate would be doing that in the long run with regard to board position but it could be how they are doing it.

The last fight (level 230x3, character required) doesn't ever decrease in level afaik
Incidentally first place in my bracket has 1790 points, with a level 15 patch, 45 IM35, and 45 storm; no other characters above level 20
    hrmmmmmmm

Maybe for new players joining late there is no level 230 fight? There can't be this many cheaters...

There are apps on the internet to cheat in this game and many others it is pretty sickening that somebody would design something like that never-mind the legions of **** bags that would use it. Not saying that here but from what I have seen of humanity on the internet it really doesn't bode well icon_e_sad.gif

That last fight for me is at 3x109. Infinite tanking literally. I think I can get it down to 98 within 1 more cycle again before I take it, only have a awful spiderman. Going to do the sub event well before the main bracket.

Or 88, wow heh. No idea how it jumped like that but Ill take it. I have a 120 Patch so its not like I need it that low but minimal iso plus x2 clear of sub + main things will scale uber fast.
