Match Making is completely broken

I've been an extremely casual, but still dedicated player since day 1 and have been a huge fan of the PvE content. However, PvP matchmaking is so broken, that since it was introduced, I've never been able to place higher than the lowest rewards tier. Additionally I can't even get any of the progression rewards! I will fight somebody with a roughly equivalent team (admittedly weak on both our ends), but by the time I've beaten them I get attacked like a hundred times! My score never climbs. Is it something about me that just makes everyone always attack me? I know the L20 M Storm, L20 Classic Hawkeye, and L8 ** Wolverine lineup I'm running in "The Best There Is" isn't the scariest in the world, but shouldn't matchmaking allow you to at least compete? I am beyond frustrated right now!

While I appreciate the kind words of sympathy and can even chuckle along at some good-natured ribbing, I'm still no closer to a solution. I have gotten perilously few suggestions, even with 20+ replies.

You all sit on your Thorverine or Magsnarok Ivory Towers and can lament the current or impending utter destruction of your beloved characters, while I wistfully hope that someday, SOMEDAY, I could bemoan crippling nerfs of such strong characters like you all.

I think MMR for PvE and PvP are interconnected. Twice I've joined the LRs at the very beginning, and twice I've gotten nothing but required hero and two level 85s or level 100s. I haven't placed better than top50 since Best There Is last week, and have only been doing Heroic Mode basicaly (albeit only a few battles every few hours).

Can you please provide input as to how our defensive team is determined. There seems to have been a change to the system but no one seems to know how ones defensive team is created.

Same as it always has. The team that you last used on offense for that particular Tournament is the team that is used on defense for that Tournament.
