Who is worse?

I don't know about the rest of you but SW seems to be annoying to play with than QS. While QS's locked T/U's can be a nuisance, I find SW's countdown to be really annoying. Her CD places on any basic tile which can spoil your plans. For instance, I was ready to match 3 to fill Cap's red shield but then next turn her CD took the red tile! Her CD has even stopped me from making 5 matches. Plus when her CD is surrounded by pink, most of the time it simply lands on the same pink, making it useless.

Perhaps it was a bad idea to recycle Beast's old skill mechanic. I'm sure at 5 covers, the CD becomes more useful but right now it's basically only good for Kingpin to poke. It would of made more sense for the CD to be placed on a basic blue tile instead of any color, similar to IF and Cage's strike and shield turn ability.

Anyone else who has SW find her CD to be more troublesome than useful? Is QS still worse?

She's a chaotic character. This was to be expected. It sucks when she ruins a match 5 by placing her tile in a bad spot (especially the center tile). Though it's also great when that tile pops up and gives me a match 5 blue I was not expecting.

I've been using Dr. Doom with her (1-cover blue), and she's not totally worthless. The extra purples get me to Diabolical Plot slightly faster. VERY slightly. I assume the impact would be greater at higher levels....

QS does less, but also doesn't get in the way. And his black swap power can be situationally useful.

That is a good idea pairing her with Doom. Didn't think about that one. Thanks for the suggestion.

    now i want her more

Lusting after a fictional character that isn't Jessica Rabbit.. what has my life become!

Also, after playing with my wife's phone while she was sleeping, DO NOT BRING SW into an ultron fight.. wow, her blue tile went off, matched 3 and dropped 2 bombs killing her instantly....

I disagree that qs doesn't get in the way. his locked TU tiles always get in the way. I wish I could take off all his blue covers and just use him for black against ultron. his black is VERY useful against ultron, but I have eaten ultron bombs because of his locked tiles too.
  • Random doesn't always equal bad, especially for color conversion. SW is much more interesting to play as a self boosting character than QS. Those locks are just SO annoying. You could call QS blackflag.png and SW greenflag.png equal somewhat. QS probably generates 5 AP and a crit tile most times, a little more sometimes a little less sometimes. SW generates 4-5 AP with no crit tile, a little more sometimes but never any less. Where SW edges out is her blueflag.png boosts herself in a much less annoying way.

Also SW actually, ya know, has a damage power. Compared to QS greenflag.png SW purpleflag.png blows him out of the water.

    QS definitely worse.

Wanda has done a great job feeding my IF additional purple during her essential nodes.

QS generally just kept me from moving the board the way I wanted and did a bit of team damage every now and then.

That and I'm always drawn to characters with somewhat random powers. So yeah, I'd pick Wanda over her brother most of the time.

To me it depends on who you team qs/sw with. Scarlett I team with gsbw and cage; sw serves as meatshield for bw while I accumulate pinks and greens to set up the green aoe attack. Cage offer red protect tile, plus alternate damage in yellow/bk.

Quick Silver I match with IW/She Hulk to set up an aoe attack. And it actually works out great if you have QS at a decent level. The nifty thing is his bk allows you to pluck a blue tile to make a 3 match and trigger an aoe explosion. Then you could follow up w/ She Hulk's aoe attack on the same turn.

I'm liking SW. Like everyone else, I'm only using her at level 40, with a 1/1/1 build, but I'm getting sort of "preview" as to how her damage scales for purple, since I've been using Reality Crush after dropping a ton of Patch's strike tiles. It's really nice getting a substantial AE attack, with a stun built in, even if it is random. Her blue doesn't accelerate very much, though at one cover, but presumably gets much better with more covers. Haven't used her green much, it's the usual issue of lots of strong green users. She does benefit from the relative lack of strong purple powers, though. She pairs well with Patch/Loki, because it also gives you an offensive outlet for purple, when you don't want to move the board.
  • I have been using sw a lot because of the big boost in the ultron event and she has been helpful. Her passive sometimes generates criticals which is nice. Plus I can ignore it and randomly gain AP. I have her paired with obw, so sw's passive nets me purple and it has helped a couple of times where the passive changed a tile to blue which was what I needed.
She is much more relable than qs. Although the black on qs is very good I think.
