Sell Thor, Wolvie, Both?

So I have level 85 Thor and Wolvie and just seeing at how much you can sell them for, is it worth it? Sure they got nerfed hard, but are they still usable? Thor can feed Patch green like crazy and Wolvie's strike tiles aren't "horrible". Could use the ISO, but don't know if I want to get rid of these guys.

It depends on how you want their skills to be since they were extremely affected by it. If you can go on without them and would rather have 500 HP to go towards another character or pack, then sell it, but if they have the skills you want them to have and will still heavily use them, then you should probably keep them. It's up to you to decide if a maxed wolverine and thor are worth their sell price.

Dont sell them unless you have a stacked 3 star roster. They also show up buffed in tournaments. Your call of course. I sold my 2* wolvie, but I only leveled him up to 42 anyway so it was no big loss as I never used him much.

That being said, I have every toon maxed out cover wise and level up whoever I want to play with. If you dont have stronger options already save them.

Got an 80 spidey, 65 hulk, 60 im40, 50 dr doom, 50 patch, 45 rags, and 45 punisher for my 3*

So that ISO could be ised to level somebody up

Maybe worth bearing in mind that these characters tend to be buffed in the PvE events, so unless you have viable alternatives, I would argue it is better to keep them. The ISO and HP you get for them is not really worth it, considering how much would have been invested into them.

Saying that, one of my madder moments was building a second Wolverine, after my first one was covered badly (cover allocation is definitely NOT one of my stronger skills!). Basically, I have levelled TWO lots of AXM Wolvie to 85. In my infinite wisdom, I sold the **** version - a tad disappointed that I could have gotten a decent price for him, had I kept him

yeah, especially wolfie seems to be buffed all the time.

I'll be keeping them, wolfie is still one of my main goto guys since I don't yet have a ***-Char that's levelled beyond 85. And even when I will have them, he'll still make a nice fallback

I sold my Wolverine, kept my Thor. Thor is still really good. Wolverine is not too bad. I would have kept my Wolverine but I wasn't planning on using him much; he was only level 54. The burst of ISO and HP was put to good use.

Before you begin to sell your thor or wol... think does it still useful to your team in the future? there might be possible that we might require these character for next event so probably its better to hold onto it if you wanted to... but on the other hand if you find it useless you could resell it for the iso and hp den reinvest again to build the thor and wol differently.. seeing dev will put it on progression reward more often between rank 150 - 45 so in the future event.. so you can get back your character cover in no time.. this is what i though... but i sold my wol as its green skill no longer seen have any impact in the current event so i sold it to reinvest into punisher and patch as they are buff for the time being... plus current wol yellow skill is quite useless seeing after 50% health only can activate which is quite useless as most likely wol will die before you could match any yellow tile

Yea, that's what I was thinking as well. Never actually used Wolvie unti last night and when I did I wondered why he wasn't gaining back life, then I actually looked at it and was like BAAAAAAAAAA. Thinking I'm going to keep them until I get more covers to rebuild, then I'll sell him.

I sold them both. Took them out for a few rounds after the funbalancing and the feel was all wrong. I need some time away from those guys so took the deal and invested in some other characters. Got my Punisher to 100! I'll rebuild Thor and Wolverine as the covers come.

Sold my level 80 Thor with a 5/3/5 build. I plan to build a new one that is 3/5/5. Wanted the iso to dump into my Punisher, raised him to level 95 with it. Kept the Wolverine at level 85 with a 5/5/3 build. I still like them both but I see Thor's power as 3/5/5 (I really like his yellow's green AP generator).

I made just one run, but indeed volverine seemed pretty MEH. If I stayed would probably do that very move: sell and dump the iso into Punisher, while replacing Vol in team with Ares.

As I see it the yellow skill can be ignored for practical purposes. What plays badly with his low HP. So the usability depends on how you can use the other powers. If he's the one guy for R and G it is fine but in competition likely go under. As others mentioned for swords stuff now daken looks better than him -- so those tolerating him might consider as replacement too or go ahead with patch.

On first read I was also in fury with the sell price but thinking again it's not bad -- just when compared to some abstract ideals. For me he definitely served down his cost several times already. With the very overpowers he lost recently.

I wish I had some faint idea of when respeccing is coming down the line. If it's still months away, I would probably sell them both now. But I'm going to hold onto them even though I will mostly use them as B-team meatshields.

Didn't get the memo? Respec is not coming. If it was on devs want list it would be implemented long ago. With this nerf patch latest. Read the signs.

I sold my wolv because I plan to rebuild him at 5/5/3. My original was borked anyway with a 3/5/5 build. I feel like 85 astonishing wolv properly specced is still better than Patch in most situations. I'm keeping Thor but rebuilding him as well, so I now have 2 in my roster.

Ended up selling my Wolverine. He had won me plenty of iso and hero rewards, and to get that much back for him was icing on the cake. Since he is a two star, I don't see him very hard to build back up again, since heroics always give a base 2* character the vast majority of the time, so I can rebuild him however again when I want to.

That was my fear when they gave the option to resell these characters at such a price.

I want to nuke Thor, since I haven't used him in a month (when he's not buffed), but a Thor/Hulk/Grey Widow team sounds pretty appealing as a decent 'B' team option.

I would sell my Wolvie if he was built anything but 5/5/3. Since I built him wrong in the first place (unknowingly), he's in good shape now.

I was thinking about selling my Thor since he's 5/5/3 and 3/5/5 is optimal now, but honestly, the extra 2 in green doesn't do that much extra damage. I use him more as a tank and a source for greens now... which was the intention of the change.

Basically, I am not selling my two maxed 2* characters because 1- they're still plenty useable and 2 - I don't have anything better to do with the ISO. If I had a 13-cover Punisher or Hulk starved for ISO, I'd seriously consider it. But right now these are still (sadly) two of the best guys on my team. I think a lot of mid-tier players are in the same boat.
