So how did the Suckers Born Every Minute Tourney go?

I don't really remember the name, but I guess Suckers Born Every Minute is a suitable name for it.

Basically, this tourney involves 10,000 people paying 3 million Hero Points to take part, so that one person can take 10k Hero points prize.

It was an obvious attempt to deflate the Hero Points from all players. Obvious ploy is obvious.

3 million HP profit with 10k payout. Man, how do they come up with these ideas?

Anyway, I would really like to ask. How many of you actually walked away with a tidy profit?

Which player scored that tasty 10k HP prize?

Those who took part. Was it worth it? Will you do it again?

    i was #17 when i left for the hospital and came back home to a top #100 result and i only used one 3hr shield (50hp) so i did okay.

    300HP was not such a bad entrance fee, everyone who participates gets at least a heroic token and 2000 ISO which is 2000 ISO more than you would get from buying a heroic token.

    I pulled on 2500 HP and 2000ISO and 3 heroic covers. Now, when you factor in how much i spent on shields... OMG, I still made a hell of a good return on investment, and it was fun. Intense, moreso than any of the other tournaments I have played in.

    I'm a noob and I somehow accidentally joined the pay2play tourney yesterday by misclicking. Needless to say, I was not and am still not pleased about the outcome.

    Not sure I will try it again next time, unless the Spidey nerf hits. Another ugly side effect of the Thorverine nerf is that now everywhere I look I have to face a high level Spidey, in MPQ talk: infinite stunlock. Which is even less manageable than Thorverine (unless you do have a high level Spidey with maxed blue and get lucky).

    I finished in the top 400, and the three heroics tokens game me Thor, Cap and Wolverine. Much nerf, very useless, so sell. wow.

    Walkyourpath and Nemek took 1st and 2nd respectively. Read the last few pages of the thread for the tourney. It was intense. Really fun, SUPER nerve wracking.

    The PC version of the online play would have been great, if it didn't have so much off-host lag problems.

    The performance difference between playing as host or off-host is extreme.
