Best teams to face Ultron, Sentries and Ultron Prime

    never thought I would move off of Lthor/mnmags/cstorm, but I mags was down last night and I was out of health packs, so I tried 40qs (boosted to 130, 1/3/2) and 40gsbw (boosted to 70, 2/3/3) for board manipulation to go along with my Lthor. and it actually works pretty well. wish I could remove qs blue power because it accelerated some of the drops and blocked a needed match once, but the ability to swap basics to match a bomb away is great and he can take 1 bomb without going down. I've only taken one bomb in the 4-5 tries with this group and they aren't well covered and aren't leveled at all. that fight is all about board manipulation. it helps that her purple is feeding thor green instead of mnmags feeding storm blue.
    well, not the coup I thought it was. my next 2 rounds with ultron with lthor/gsbw/qs went much different. didn't lose a round but lost a man or 2 each time. luckily was able to keep thor alive and finish. one time the board reset/reshuffled and set 3 bombs towards the bottom and I nearly crapped my pants but I wiggled out with some qs magic and thor, but that reset made me eat 2 bombs.

    The problem with the ultron node is not just bombs, but also the accidental matches on top rows. When that happens the dmg can be high in round 7/8. I am lucky to have my gsbw high lvl, and boost of qs is high enough for 2-3 hits.
    Even though this combo fails sometimes (characters die) I still find it essential to be able to shoot down parts of boards where bombs are located. GSBW pistol at 3 red can take out 3x2 (HxW) tiles which can result in taking out 2-6 bombs depending how are they placed.

    I've tried Loki to shuffle the board, but this can be counter productive. Hulk can smash bombs, but also make them fall to bottom. Hood is low health for later rounds, but is good enough for first rounds to shoot down bombs. Not sure which other character I am missing out that can shoot or rearrange the board for a match. Moonstone?! icon_e_smile.gif

    Also I wish my Punisher was covered enough so that I could execute Ultron when at 40%.

    I am mostly in 2* star land. I have ~30 3* but they are severely undercovered so far so see very limited play.
    My musthave against ultron is 2* CapAm with his shields. I complement him with lvl40 2yellow IM40 for non-board-shaking red/blue generation. The 3rd char is usually 2* Thor because he is the only one on my roster who can shield buffed CapAm on some colors.

    Round 5 currently
    Ultron Prime 100 Gunner 101 Fighter 100
    Essentials: 63-101, 63-97, 96-101, 96-101, 96-97
    Unfortunately the easiest first two require SW that I don't have

    for ultron im using:
    Thor - because of damage concentrated on green and green generate
    gsbw - green generate and damage [ gsbw skill is good to clear map aswell, even if you wont kill ultron you can clear map, by purple you can do it too ]
    hood / daken - hood for ap drain ofc, daken to get the hit and aditional green generate

    for sentries im using
    thor for damage
    loki - lots of cascades makes him usable so he is feeding thor
    essential

    for final fights whatever, its not so difficult
