Having a fresh start

When I heard about the X-force nerf I was a bit butthurt like a lot of other people. Last week I decided to use it as a fresh start of sorts.

I sold my X-force and used the resources to focus on my 3 teams more. I'm on day 397 and spend about £35 a month in general, just for reference.

Currently there are a huge number of underplayed 3 characters and i wanted to take a look into their potential as viable ladder teams. I'd love to hear your recommendations for 3 teams that don't see a lot of play. Here's my first week of exploring:

Most of the resources from X-force went into Iron Fist putting him at lvl 150, 3 5 5
An obvious build for anyone wanting to exploit his pink for black AP but i've always loved his pink for the ridiculous damage once 12 is reached. his biggest advantage turned out to be his attack tile though, especially in the Gamora PvP with Daken (166). The low cost of all three characters attacks was surprisingly effective but the defence wasn't brilliant meaning clever use of shields was required. Over all i was happy.

the Current PvP which has just ended for me faired less well (quicksilver). I was excited for Quicksilver at first but his tricky caused some problems. Daken wasn't much help other than a meat shield and i found getting to 12 left me starved for AP, i only got one or two punches from Iron Fist per game. His can demolish anything but without reliable access to (?mystique) you leave yourself with your second pick as a main attacker and Daken doesn't cut it in that role.

These next 7 days i'm going to be concentrating on a new 3 to team up with Iron Fist. Top picks are Luke Cage for his obvious synergy and Mystique.

So what 3 characters do people really want to see more of? Anyone running a lower tier team they want to show off?

Nice you got over your butt hurt so fast but personally i don't trust D3 enough to put anything into another character that I dont know can be nerfed again. D3 shows no loyalty to you so Im not sure y they deserve a fresh start. Your a vet player, how much grinding did you do build XF up? If D3 doesnt find it fair to xfer that ISO you bought or grinded to another cover then as a consumer dont do anymore in game purchases. I feel D3 stole from me. This is a progression based game and they have np at setting you back due their mistakes. One sided relationship.

Just for kicks, i tried a Daredevil, Cyclops (now that i finally have a yellow cover) Kamala

Daredevil is lvl 102 2/4/3
Kamala is lvl 102 3/2/4
Cyclops is lvl 78 3/1/3

Got an easy win in shield simulator (already got my heroic 10 pack this season, so just messing around waiting on heals) Won the match pretty easily

Huge surprise, i woke up to +41 in non-shielded defensive wins (had plenty o losses in there as well)

This team covers the rainbow.

Cyclops yellow and daredevil red is an amazing combo, once you have a trap or 2 out, cyclops yellow causes cascades, and the traps reset when destroyed mid cascade, so you can get damage off of a trap 2 or 3 times in one cascade.

If you are so bothered about how they've acted, then continue playing the game, but without putting anymore money into it. This game can be played perfectly fine without spending any money whatsoever on it.

The main reason I recovered so fast is because i never trusted D3 in the first place. I knew when i started that i was literally throwing money away. I'm paying for fun, thats it. You're correct that D3 shows no loyalty, I never expected loyalty from a company taking my money. I spend my real money on fake money to spend in a virtual game. Thats it in a nutshell. D3 doesn't owe us anything. We have all received what we have paid for, plastic pretend money.

Saying that Google kindly refunded some of the money i spent on my X-force. Which was nice of them.

Daredevil is another underrated character is think. His abilities aren't the most consistent but his has serious damage behind it. I've also recently got a Cyclops so i'll be checking that little combo out soon. Sounds like fun.

At a rough count i think we have at least 12 AP fixers not including The Hood. the colours are a bit lumped together ( gets way too many. gets one) but the ability to make consistent combo teams has never been easier.

I am so eager to raise a Kamala and replace GSBW on my Lcap-Hood-Widow team: keeping the green AoE, purple board manipulation and replacing the never used widow red for a healing passive.

Ms Marvel is on my list to. I agree with GSBW being a bit sub par. Both her and Model 40 IM are desperately in need of a tune up. 19 for an ability is a joke now. Kamala is a good replacement.
