Can we have Lightning Rounds on the weekend? Or double iso?
I can pretty much never take advantage of Lightning Rounds being Tue-Thur due to my work schedule, and I was thinking, there's nothing on the weekend.
We've had weekend lightning rounds before(albeit special ones), we should have them like....all the time, yo.
Or double-iso.
Or 4*Lightning Rounds.
Or Anniversary event.
Or Deadpool's Weekly.
----
On a more serious note with Deadpool daily there's a influx of cover but ISO is still stretched thin. I know a patch is coming, but I'm sure we'll still need ISO to do things so yeah.

Or bring back the first time clear 200 Iso bonus in PvE0

There used to be a bonus for the first time you cleared a node in PvE of 200 iso. Nice carrot to push through some of the more difficult nodes once.
So with the simulator, if you did a complete clear of all 20 nodes, you would have gotten 4,000 iso in first time bonuses. It adds up over time, made PvE more palatable0 -

I was just thinking this today too.
Both weekend lightning rounds and double iso.
Or even if lighting rounds were during the evening. I don't know about everyone but here in EST, they're during business hours. So I can usually only play a couple nodes to get the standard token.0 -

LRs run for 48 straight hours, so by definition they run morning, afternoon, evening, and night0 -
I say put lightning rounds in the off season.. with events and the season, i only ever play the first 3 seed rounds, if i ever even get a chance to get seed rounds, or play one at all.0

I support double ISO / weekend LR'a0

I for one loved how they introduced Electra with the week long lightening round with a 4/4/5 loaner and 20? person brackets. It let you play around with the new character as well as earn some extra iso and they popped up every 10 hours I believe so you had an opportunity to play regardless of your schedule. Really wish they would do this with all 4* releases.0

I think the reasoning for not doing these kind of things during the weekend is that the devs assume most people will be too busy with other things: family time, social activities, other hobbies, etc. In my case they'd definitely be right: it's easy for me to free up 30-60 minutes to play a few times a day during the week, but during weekends I'm lucky if I can keep up with a PvE and a PvP with everything that's going on.0

I would like weekend lightning rounds and more double iso events. Thumbs up!0

And if we're talking personal experience, mine would be just the opposite as you've stated. So your sample size is small, etc.0 -
Double ISO Weekend. Very similar to Double XP weekends on some F2P mmos and shooters. I would be SO FOR THAT.0

I have, literally, about five times as much time to play on weekend days as I do during weekdays. There might be some people with less time on the weekends, but there are also a lot with more.0 -

No, no, no.... See..... they took that out, because they increased the ISO you got per node. And if they left it in, then people would have too much ISO, see?........
*Queue 9 months later and everyone in 3* land is ISO starved*
"Hey guys we put more ISO in through DDQ!"
Seriously, I think whoever is doing their math needs to go back to school. It seems to be the same person that says 5 tiles on Thor is balanced now, when 12 was before and that 4* characters are doing 160% of the damage compared to 3* characters. Math is apparently not their strong suit.
More on topic, anything that increases rewards and ISO sounds good to me.0 -

I did the math just to compare to the iso change in 2 weeks. My current iso need is 3.02 million iso to max all the covers I have. At 10,000 iso a day, it will take me 10 months to get enough iso for all the covers I have today. It is like try to put out a burning building with spit.0 -
Hinestly, don't bother asking. All three of the opening available matches for me were in the region of 180/166/166.
Lightning rounds used to be quick, easy matches to get to 100, no health packs needed. Not any more, it seems.
They spoiled this, too.0 -
What if Lightning Rounds were all the time?
Maybe all the time is too much. But even if they reduced the rewards (or not), doing Lightning Rounds every other day, or every other hour, it would force people to be more manage their time among all events.
I've been too busy to participate in Lightning Rounds for the past month or so. But there have been other times where I didn't need to play any current events, had time to kill, and had nothing to do in this game. Not that I need to play this every waking moment, but having something to do whenever would be nice.0 -
What we need is a non-competitive iso/token grinder. Once you have completed the dark reign story line... all you have is PVP and Events (yes DDQ is there, but that is over in 20 minutes). Something you can do to just kill time.. Goon nodes, seed like teams of varying levels.. no score, no pressure, no time crunch.
Make the rewards 1/2 of what you would get in a PVP match. so from 35 to 125, with a chance at a recruit token or 2 star/1star cover per battle (reward is random, just like in PVP)
This way we have a way to grind iso, but not too much, so people will still pay for large chunks if they want, can test out crazy teams and abilities etc on chars we haven't leveled, and give us something to do when there is downtime ( shielded in PVP, done with DDQ, etc...)
We need a practice area.. i have so many chars i haven't leveled due to not enough covers or iso, but would love to try them out.. but where???
You could even make 2 or 3 different levels of these area's (a 3rd tab)
one for beginners and those building their 2* teams. (lvl 20-70 nodes) - standard rewards as outlined above
One for the transitioners and 3 star folks (lvl 75 - 100 nodes) - up rewards
One for the 4* transitioners and vets (lvl 150 - 250 nodes) - up rewards a little more
This would keep many people happy and content, the tokens you could earn would be for the levels you are working on. beginners tokens would have added chance at a 2*, intermediate would be added chance at 3*, hard would be added chance at 4*. Make the tokens semi-rare, so when you get one, there is a little excitement.
Vets and Noobs alike would have a reason to play even without anything going on that interests them.
Heck, i'd be open to a pay to play gauntlet style solo PVE, no competition, just you against the board, 50hp or 1k iso, and you get a week to complete a gauntlet type solo PVE of your level of choosing.0 -

Ultimately, if we had some solo-quests besides Deadpool's daily, that'd be cool. Or at least a fighting game Arcade mode(progress thru harder and harder fights).
Or they could retread people's origin stories for ez content.
But those things I mentioned aren't characters.
And D3 only cares about $$/characters.0
