Attacks coming through shields?

Don't know if anyone else had this problem but in Lethal Intent, after every shield, I would get an attack that would pass through the shield. And no, I'm not talking about server lag.

On my last shield, I repelled 2 attacks with shield about 30 seconds after I exited out of the shield menu. Ok - Working. Then a few minutes later when I recheck the phone, 3 more attacks register and 1 of them go through. I've gotten 1k plenty of times so I know how the shield is supposed to react. I even double check my score on the overall player rankings to see if there was any server lag immediately after shielding. But on this event, after each shield (3 times - spaced out), one attack happened to go through. Has not happened to me like this in the past.
