Is it time to drop my 2* characters?

My Roster, bench shown first, then going from least to most leveled. (Uploaded incorrectly.)

Just want to know where I can improve and if I should drop anyone? My main concerns are Hawkeye @ level 76, StarLord @ level 70, and maybe even X-Force now.

Also, I have the 3 guys on my bench. Not concerned about losing Ragnarok, but want definitely want to keep IM40. My thoughts on Quicksilver are less than stellar as well.

Any input?

Your X-Force would have been better sitting at level 70 with only 2 Green covers & nothing else.

I'd try to keep everyone (which I know is downright unreasonable, but still.) I'm not sure what you've been focusing on at this point. Storm, Wolverine, & Hawkeye don't strike me as having the best synergy.

Step 1: Stop leveling people till you have 10+ covers for them. It doesn't help unless you've got Iso to burn.

Step 2: Save HP for roster slots.

Step 3: Get some 2*'s that synergize together. I'm a fan of M.Mags, M.Hawk, & C.Storm. O.B.W. & Thor shouldn't be ignored either.

You are clearly still far away from 3* transitions, yet have crippled your team by ditching everyone except Storm, Wolverine, Hawkey, and that lonely IM-35 (who I only recommend keeping as he must be carrying that 1* node for Deadpool.)

That is unless you are planning to dump money into the game to buy covers for people, in which case focus on Patch, Doom, Magneto, & Cyclops in that order.

also try not to over level anyone u have in 3* even if u could , wait till u can make a group of them at same high level , like take 3-4 of them to 90 , then to 100 , then to 110 and so forth <so for now dont level ur top guys over 110 i see them at 104 which is reasonably good>, u'll see how that impacts u in the pvp soon enough , not sure if xf still on hp sale , but if ur not a fan and he still is u can ditch him for some hp .
fi u find urself some free aries covers , i'd save them and replace him with hawkeye .

You maybe missed a page of his roster, because he also has 2* Daken and Torch fully leveled. I don't think he's far away from the transition. He has a fully covered Loki with five green, which I think is enough to earn him "in the transition" status all by itself. Blade and Punisher are at playable levels. You're right that he should stop leveling people just because he can, though putting iso into a character when its featured can be very helpful. And the game definitely keeps giving us reasons to keep every 3* when at all possible.

To the OP, I'll just say that the 2*s you've chosen to keep are not exactly the ones I've decided to keep and cherish forever. Any roster without OBW on it is a puzzle to me. But I think ditching Hawkeye is an easy choice if you're on the brink of having to sell a 3*, even one as lousy as Quicksilver.

Haha, you're absolutely right, the tab to move on to the last 2 pages was off screen and I could only see the 1st 6 pages!

The main concern with dropping 2* when you are in a transition phase is that it suddenly becomes a real problem when Heroic PVE's come around. If you don't have a deep 3* roster to almost guarantee a playable roster, selling 2* can potentially significantly hamper your ability to compete in them since they lock you out of 90% of your roster. I know I still use my 2* during Heroic PVE's a lot simply because I haven't had luck in my useable 3* being part of the Heroic required list. Thankfully, Heroics haven't been in the PVE rotation as much lately and I hope it stays that way, lol.

If heroics are gone forever, I'd probably only keep 3 2* just for DPDQ only and free up more roster space, but I keep the 2* only for Heroic PVE purposes. Until that point I have most of my 3* all leveled to above 100 and fully covered, then maybe I'd consider dropping more 2* myself. I know roster slot pricing is ridiculous and it only gets worse as you add characters, but it's something to consider.

Your roster is a tough one. You've got a decent 2* team in Wolverine/Daken, but who's your up and coming team? R&G + Blade is possible, with R&G tanking 3 colors, leaving red on board for thirst. Hopefully you're getting the 3rd Hood Blue today so you can pair him with LThor.

As for who to drop for your new covers it's really tough... maybe Daredevil?

Having four 2*s is reasonable with your roster.
Rag, IM40, Psylocke, Squirrel Girl are all very droppable. Although I suspect IM40 will get adjusted upwards at some point.

If you haven't made any moves yet, I'll add that the upcoming Ultron event seems to be geared toward Avengers, so you might regret selling that Hawkeye in a few days, but we don't know for sure yet.

Also, the ONLY 1* that people should have is Juggernaut, for DDQ and BOP. Wait for a few days though, to make sure specific Avengers are not needed for the Ultron events.

I'm finally well along the way into my 3* with enough ISO to push Lcap and one of 4 other good choices to 166. I found that building cover sets for a ton of 3* while working my 3* lineup to the bone has huge payoffs. I was able to accumulate a Lcap 3/5/5 and 6 other solid team members with 11-12 covers (Blade, Storm, Lthor, Hulk, GSBW and Spidey) before I started pouring ISO into them. The 2* was more than enough to keep things powering along until I could really unleash some 3* wrath lol

That said, I still regularly (daily, for many fights) use OBW, 2* Thor and Daken, Ares, and Wolvie. Storm, MNMags and Hawkeye are definitely used far less now. The other 2* are kept around because I can, but they're rarely used unless they're featured in an event. All of them except for Bullseye, Captain Marvel and Lunchbag Spidey are 94.

I'd hesitate to toss anything from the first group I mentioned. The rest border on luxuries. In your case, maybe plan on keeping the solid performers, especially OBW, Daken and Ares, for a while. Prune the others only if as you need to for better 3* opportunities. With your lineup and the other solid tips from other posters, you should be loving life pretty soon =D

Sorry, been busy haven't had a chance to say much.
I didn't pay attention to the forums and stuff into my game. So the 2*guys I have are the ones I've always had. I never put ISO and stuff into Ares/thor/OBW, never used them.

The team I have has always been good enough for 4k points in a PvP season,last 4 of them. I've constantly place in PvE events.

Since this post, I come into more covers for punisher,mystique, 3Storm, Doom & others.

I soft cap my team @ level 104. And have yet to put any more ISO into lowered leveled guys until the new update affecting that.

Appreciate the input.
