So strangely today I opened my week's 10 tacos and pulled 4 250 HP. My Steve Rogers had 4 red and I need him for DDQ to fight off all the health increase changes. Such an amazing change. I am very happy with this purchase, especially since it was technically free. Not much point to this post, I just wanted to share some positives today. Enjoy your game day

My 3/5/5 Captain America is the backbone of my roster and play style. Wait til you get him in the final round of ddp and you massacre the whole team with him. icon_e_biggrin.gif Cap with AP is a force of nature.

I did and it made my life so much easier! My Cap only is 2/5/2 and he was still devastating. I normally rely on Ares on the last wave but Cap did all the work with his red and blue. Now I can finally stop using lously 2* Cap on goon nodes.

The red from this DDQ -finally- finished off my Cap to 3/5/5, I'm considering making him my DDQ go-to; not sure who to run without X-force. Took LT/DP/Hood through this morning.

X-Force 4hor and Iron Fist still crush the 4 wave node.

Patch-Loki-Panther. Spend first wave building up green/black/yellow. Kill last enemy with berzerker, rage kill the 2nd wave (should one shot them with 5 black + berzerker and battleplan). Spend wave 3 re-collecting black if need be. Rage kill 4th wave. Easy peasy.

Back to topic, 5 red Cap is up there with 5 blue Hood as the most critical covers. Purchase well made.

only ever used 1 team in DDQ - Good ol'Cap, Patch & Falcon

Since the beginning I have only ever lost Falcon once & neither of the other 2.

As stated before Cap with big AP batteries rocks - hardly ever do the 4th round hero's ever get a turn. Berserker Rage + Red Cap for the scariest, Red Cap + Yellow for 2nd guy (easy to save up the 19 yellows as been using them to boost shields/swords with falcon). Placed optimally this does hugh damage (no need to use for defense as normally have at least a couple blue shields boosted by falcon lying around + falcons shields) Cap Blue for the last one (easily 4 turn stun from built up blues by this stage).

Of course next week they are raising his red to require 31AP to use!
  • I think Blade is one of the Gods from DDQ. Blade Patch Loki is my go-to team, I dont berserk on wave one so I use Blade black instead of Loki black, then just keep pairing berserk and trickery while blade puts down the attack tiles. Often I finish the DDQ fianal wave with minimal damage due to AP steal (no powers for them) and trickery giving 1k worth of protect tiles.
  • My favorite DDQ team is LCap/Hood/GSBW. It's a true powerhouse rainbow team. Green/Purple with BW. Red/Blue with Cap. Yellow/Black with Hood. I get upset when I take any damage at all. I will often clear it with full health. Only on a bad board will I get a scratch by a goon before the AP/damage train gets rolling. Almost never get touched on the character waves.
  • I run Captain/Blade/X Force, and X Force never served any particular purpose in that setup other than that you might as well put the most overpowered guy on the team. I'm sure I can replace him with just about anyone else and it'll still work. Build up AP and strike tiles during goon phase, and then Captain America can generally clean up fine on his own and your other two guys can pitch in if needed.
  • Shush everyone...Cap 3* was my first maxed character. His red kills. Keep it quiet, or he'll be nerfed...
