Dear D3Publisher,
a simple solution to solve all the issues you are having with people complaining about character’s changes, and that would finally put a stop at the discontent and the numerous money refunds requested every time you try to balance the game, is to officially announce something like this:

Every time a character gets changed, players will have the opportunity to pick 1 among those 3 given options:

1) Lower the character level to 70/40/15/1 (depending on the character's rarity), keeping it with its current covers and refunding the whole amount of ISO spent on it;
2) Free respec of the character, among the available covers of the selected character (ex. 355 to 535, 052 to 034 – remember that it works only among available covers, so if there is no cover on a colour, that colour can’t be taken in consideration);
3) Sell the character for a full HP refund of SPENT HP for that character, plus 2/5 (or 3/10) of the ISO invested in the character, plus 1000/500/250/100 ISO per EARNED cover (depending on the character’s rarity).

Keep in mind that those options are given only for the characters that have been modified in the latest patch (with a possibility to ask such changes only until a predefined date), and that such a change is an irreversible onetime offer for each character.
It will improve your customer satisfaction.
People will never ever again ask back their money and accounts won’t be sandboxed.
Sales might go down for a really brief period, but your customer base wouldn’t shrink.
It will stop veterans from leaving the game.

If all the above reasons aren't good enough and you keep doing business the way you do, then I don't really see a long and bright future for this game.
Kind regards

    I really like these ideas. One of the issues is the PVE scaling and matchmaking.
    When you have an level 270 Xforce, it will affect match making and PVE.
