Account transfer

I saw some ppl post before that they gave away their account by sending some files. Is it still possible (with the PC version)? Do the developers ban for it?

    I don't remember how it's set up with steam. If it's linked to your steam account, you probably won't be able to without getting sandboxed (walled off from competitive play) since the new user would appear to have generated a roster out of thin air. If the user files / account details are separate from steam, then you probably can, as long as they're the only one playing them.

    I know some games also have account sitting policies that let people play for you for a period of weeks or months while you're gone or taking a break. Whether or not MPQ does, I don't know.

    Tnx for the answer, but both me and the guy who I was thinking to give my acc to are playing through Steam, so if what you're saying is right I'm not able to do it.
    Though, on the other hand, if files only transfer the roster, without acc details, that should sandbox any player, because he would be getting a roster anyway.
