I hate defense tiles

This situation almost made me ragequit. I was only doing 1 damage constantly and every now and then he'd heal up using the hot dog wagon.
There was no way I could die in this fight anymore since I had 30+ blue tiles and several yellow tiles.

It was just an excruciating 20 minute grind trying to get rid of his defense tiles and nicking his health down one by one. I wish he would only create them when his team matches them, not on your matches as well -.-

You needed to use Spidey to stun Bullseye every time you wanted to match a purple.
Bullseye can't throw down shields when he is stunned.


edit: Just noticed you don't have Spidey's blue. Oops.

Seriously though, I agree that they can get away from you and grind your game to a halt if you let them. My advise for protect tile spammers, such as Bullseye or Iron Man 25, is to target them first. No seriously, always target Bullseye first. Do it. Kill him with fire, or lightning, or repulsor blast... just do it. Bullseye is one of those characters that the PVE events just make him better, or more annoying, than he really is.

You are going to have games that just get bogged down no matter what you do. They stink, but it is what it is.

I usually target him first, but lost the previous match because Ares just one-shot me at the end with his red and then followed by the green.
So this time around tried to take down the damage dealers first. Well... not a good idea.

Sadly never had the luck to get Spideys blue

At least the 4-match in the screenshot was a turn around point. But it didn't help that my own damage dealer went down early.

I don't have the best roster and levels at the moment, so take this advice with a grain of salt.

Anyone who lays down Protect tiles is my first target, always. Stunners/Stealers are a second, followed by tanky/damage types last. it's not perfect, but it does seem to get me through some rough fights. EG: In a Bullseye/Daken/Ares fight, that's the order I'd take them - Bullseye first (since he's squishiest anyway, and those protect tiles really irk me) followed by Daken and his strike tile nonsense (it's nonsense when the enemy has it, awesomesauce when I have it ) and then Ares can be slapped and smacked last.

I've had a lot of good fortune running with Original Black Widow (She's level 51 now and 4/4/4 - chasing one more blue cover!), a Modern Storm at level 50 and a Patch (currently level 30 and won't be going higher unless I get another cover...) and these three seem to work pretty well together. Patch lays out the damage tiles, followed up by Modern Storm's environmental tile destroyer which gets the damage tile bonus, plus any cascades from that - and then her black puts slap-tiles (sorry, I can't remember their name, but even if you have just ONE of those, they also get the Patch strike tile bonus - every turn. OBW steals their colours and heals up the team. They seem to work okay together, for a low-to-middling level team.

Man, when this happens, it's so annoying I agree in that you absolutely have to kill Bullseye first especially if you need purple yourself.

It's even worse though when you take out enemy support characters only to have your damage dealer killed and be left face to face with the last enemy standing (damage dealing type, of course). I had this happen to me when I was fighting a team identical to mine (but higher in levels). lost Wolverine right after killing enemy oBW and Punisher (his countdown tiles prevent healing with low oBW, so I had to kill him).
It was the longest match in history, I tell you. At least the longest I had. Nibbing at enemy Wolverine's health (PRE-NERF, good healing and all) with puny 15 lvl Punisher damage and mighty support of oBW. Had to watch purple and blue like a hawk. In the end I just spammed enough attack tiles to deal actual damage (or rather damage more than the enemy could heal). (Also lost the borrowed Punisher to Adamantium Slash right before the end, but who cares).

Sorry All I can say is Loki's trickery is a beast against him. I would utilize OBW, Loki, Patch for faster wins against him.
