In my experience nodes differ greatly in point values, in some cases are merely not worth the risk of attempting, but why is this? Because it may cost you play time. Now why not give out health packs as random rewards (separate from the 1/4 rewards) for completing certain nodes? Since cascades will be more likely the longer a match is played the chances of a game changing cascade will increase after the health change. When you factor in scaling too, it leads to too much downtime. That cannot help the enjoyment of the game. Facebook friend heals are another solution, as in other games. Obviously it may be the case that you simply want us all to play fewer matches but with a longer duration. Please adjust reward structure appropriately.
