You can still fix this!

Just undo everything you have done in the last 48 hours.
And come up with a better plan to gain the players trust.
Maybe in the future give paying customers some kind of bonus (hard to get covers, HP, Iso) only they get while the rest who play for free have to work hard for.
You should not bite the hand that feeds.
Make the game easy to play for everyone like it used to be.
Players will pay if what they put in gets them higher up the ladder but it needs to be a fair deal.
We all know this game costs money and many of us are ready to pay if we get something good in return, we ain't dumb.
Fix it. icon_mrgreen.gif

  • i guess this update[boost-hp cost] is the worst update ever. palyers angry with their hero nerfed after so much time and money invested. but the biggest shock is this change.
don't spend any money for now.[i never spend icon_mrgreen.gif cstorm nerfed made me that decision]
then look at what the dev gonna do.
  • Yeah.
Imagine if back in the day when we were feeding the Videogame machines quarters then one day we walk in the game hall and the machines wanted 10 bucks.
    LMAO

It's the combination of Boosts requiring money and the events all using level 230 characters, without any chance of reducing them.
  • A) Respec option needed to be implemented before Thor/Wolverine nerf. Anyone who is anyone used them almost exclusively. I personally am struggling to find a replacement A Squad. I have no one else at 85.
    B) Stop making everything cost hero points. We get it. The top players who cruised on pre-nerf Ragnarok have so many Hero Points that you're trying to find a way to get them to spend it all. All you are doing is hurting the vast majority of your player base. You tried to do it by doubling shield costs, and now this.
    C) Why is everything so expensive in general? Who is this game made for? People with disposable money? Your pricing for Hero Points is way to high. If you lowered it you increase your revenue, I'm almost certain you would. Instead your focusing on those with disposable income that will frivolously throw $50 at you. Focus on the masses like me who would gladly throw $5 dollars at you if I actually got something worthwhile.

    Right?

$12 for 1 level of 1 power is insane, and only a very few people can shell out that much for something so frivolous. At $2.50 I could see myself buying up a couple of powers, and that might even open me up to buying some ISO to get the new levels.

Think about it. $12 is a 6 pack. You're competing with 6 beers, and offering me a very small increase in power for a single character. You should price everything on the Beer Standard. How many beers is the product you're offering really worth?
  • @rockmonster I think rich people use heroine or something instead so they go by those prices.
