How many hours per day do you play?

Just curious. If you want to reply to provide additional info like how high you typically place in events or anything, knock yourself out.

edit: I realize that some days are heavier than others like when an event is ending or at season end. Just try to average it out.

    A bit hard to gauge:

    Are you counting time in matches or does this time include coordinating shield hops, Line communication, etc.?

    Good point. I just meant actual game time since I don't do the whole coordination thing, lets just go with actual time spent in matches.

    It would also be interesting though to see how much time people are spending overall on the game including line chats, forum use, etc.

    It depends... Somedays, especially Saturdays, I may get 60 - 90 minutes in. Just enough to do a single PvE clear and start up the PvP. But real life takes over most Saturdays. Other days (especially Tuesday and Wednesday when Lightning Rounds are going) I have the app running all day and am interspersing battles with other tasks through the day. So I guess it probably averages out around 4 hours. Which is a lot. But this is my main gaming outlet right now, so that's okay.

    It is pretty amazing how much time you have to spend if you want to have a chance to compete in the majority of events!

    Voted 7-8 hours.

    Some of us joke about this being a full-time job and for me that's pretty close to being true.
    While I seriously doubt that's how much time I spend strictly doing the match 3 part of the game it's probably not TOO far off.

    My actual play time varies by the day as well.
    LR days and those where the seasons ends would require more play time while slower days like a Monday or Saturday involves far less.

    While this post isn't my exactly my proudest admission, I have nothing to hide either. Part of the reason I can devote so much time is that I only work part-time hours and don't have direct family responsibilities to tend to. If I wasn't playing MPQ while watching my webshows, listenining to music/audiobooks then I'd be playing another game. I was really big into Diablo 3 before moving over to MPQ as my primary game for example.

    I voted 5 - 6, but that depends. When there is PVE sub end, then even more: 7 - 8.
    Saturday and Sunday when season ends even EVEN more: 12.
    I know it is not normal...
    Btw this is the reason we want quicker matches, no slower.
    This is on of the reasons why current MMR sucks so hard.

    I stopped playing this season.

    I clearly chose the perfect time to take a break.

    It's looking more and more like my break will become a permanent one.

    Voted - my guess is roughly 4 hours, but I try not to PVE, and that does involve communication outside of game about the game and coordinating alliance member swap. I think people also vastly underestimate the amount of time they spend. Or just don't want to admit it, lol.

    Other alliance mates claimed numbers from between 2 hours a day up to 12 hours a day (that last is if you want to do both high-level PVE and PVP).

    It's not a huge sample size, but the curve is pretty much what I expected.

    12 hours is crazy. I wish a redflag.png name would come in and drop some stats on average per day play, you know they have them. (pretty please?) I'd also really like to know how much time the record holder plays per day, there has to be someone who averages like 12 hours per day or something totally insane.

    I think that 12 hours may have been pre-8-hr PVE refresh, but it's not out of the question considering Lightning Rounds, DDQ, rotating subs in PVE, and PVP with the new MMR. The alliance mate in question was a freaking machine though.
