You don't join a main bracket until you select an end time. The amount of people in your bracket should be in a red band above the black band that states how much time is left in the event. It is easiest to just check the last post in the thread, to see what the latest info someone has provided. If the time zone settings in your user profile are correct, you should be able view the time the person posted, to see how current their info is. There is a possibility of multiple brackets filling side by side, so join a "fresh" bracket at your own risk.

Useful info to provide

1)Time slice you are in
2)Current amount of people in bracket
3)Leader in bracket with amount of points
4)Time you joined the event, if it was not right before posting in the thread.

Unique Reward(s): Sentry Red Cover - One node in the final sub-event (Thunderbolts Mountain) gives a red Sentry cover as a reward. During the first run of the event this node was unlocked via a global progress bar. During the most recent run of the event, this node was unlocked as soon as the player completed nodes in the sub-event.
Other Notes:

Subs 1, 2, and 7 run on their own. Subs 3 & 4 and 5 & 6 run side by side. Sub 3 (LA) & 5 (Washington DC) have lower points and enemy levels than Sub 4 (Wakanda) & 6 (Hell's Kitchen)
Sub-Events:
Sub 1: Manhattan
Sub 2: China
Sub 3: Los Angeles & Sub 4: Wakanda
Sub 5: Washington DC & Sub 6: Hell's Kitchen

    I have just joined time slice 3, it opens in 36 minutes. Im 186th there. Veteran bracket for sure, Im always top 5 - 10 in PVE. Hope that helps a little.

    Edit: Veteran shard 3 bracket is 1000, it filled 30 seconds ago.

    Slice 4 has been full for a while. I'm not sure exactly when, but it was probably around an hour ago at 12:35 PM EST. There should be a fresh bracket if you join now, but I don't know for sure, as I'm not in the first bracket.
