...it seems like I'm always hurting for HP (and roster slots, as a result) - is the "600 extra" sale a move to make? I haven't spent anything in-game to this point, but considering they've given me 272 days of entertainment (more or less), I figure $20 is the least I could do. Thoughts?

Hero Points are really the only thing worth spending cash on.

I relate to the sentiment of not wanting to pay for a FtP game. But if you've had that many days of enjoyment (or at least distraction) out of it, I encourage you to go for it. I recently said in another thread, my philosophy for FtP games is to ask myself how much I would have paid if it had been buy to play, and then spend no more than that amount. For me that was $20, the amount I paid for the original Puzzle Quest.

You're experiencing a "targeted" sale, by the way. Other people aren't getting that offer right now.

Ha!!!!! You have a sale going on that's JUST for you. Congratulations.

And yeah, $20 is nothing, compared to how much time you've spent playing this game, right? One of the mathematicians would know which button would be the most cost efficient.

Cost efficiency increases as the package gets bigger, like most other things, it's just that most people will experience sticker shock for a price tag larger than say $25 for a mobile game (which is how a lot of games swindle you tbh they offer you small things for a dollar and those dollars a day add up over the month - Candy Crush comes to mind).

Thanks for the feedback - all good points. I got a call just as I was deciding on what to do, and ended up missing the sale - luckily the 75 HP I had on hand was just enough to shield at the end of the IM40 PvP, so hopefully I can build things back up before I "need" it (covers on deck right now are MNMags and Gamora) for another slot.

LOL @ TLCstormz - I feel like your message was missing a "tell him what he's won..."
