Seeing hackers with new roster display system

The number 1 player in my bracket Micahnos has 659 points and his highest level cover is a level 43 * Iron Man. How is this possible? In fact, all the top few players in my bracket all have under level 50 covers and yet have these absurd amounts of points while I'm stuck against level 100+ opponents. Can someone explain the system to me?

  • I came here to post the exact same thing.
  • Devs think we players aren't doing enough testing for them already, so we have to catch hackers now too. Personally I enjoy catching cheaters!
  • Because MMR
  • Possibly some MMR artifact hidden this far, maybe they are offered only lvl 10- teams for good points (and no retals).

Now if not only roster would appear but the game history with opponents and point results... that would indeed put up all the civil surveillance to hose hackers.

If you find someone you think is cheating, please feel free to send in a ticket with any information you have on the situation. We'll look into it. I'll note that someone with a high point total but low level covers doesn't mean cheating necessarily. They could be newer players that haven't ascended the ranks of their own internal matchmaking so they're battling "easier" players than you may be.

IceIX my question would be with the way the current pve is set up (enemy level increases every time you beat one of them). How does a player fight those level 230 enemies when the highest cover level is a 1* lvl 35 iron man? Is rubberbanding that high in effect?

Edit: sorry the individual I'm talking about is slated #1 currently in my daredevil pve.

They're probably tanking the enemies down to level 40.

    ^That.

I've only gotten them to tank one time from 230 to 203. Haven't been able to do it since. How many tanks must I do in order to lower their lvls?
  • What about players who have everyone maxed are they considered cheaters
  • How do you view another player's roster???
  • Was there a change in matchmaking or something? Because when I started out playing about a month ago I could never get higher than 400 points in progression or break rank 15 with a level 50 iron man without having to face teams of level 80+ characters. I'm just really confused about how this works and how a person who is facing much easier battles can still gain that many points.

If I were to lose..say...100 matches purposely in the beginning of the tournament before trying to play seriously would I then be able to face these easier opponents?

IceIX, don't you find a little insane having to lose/retreat to be able to play?
  • Glad that this is posted. Just saw 2nd 3rd place with horrible rosters. I'm thinking conspiracy theories. ... D3 puts up fake names to push players and encourage $$ being spent. Just a theory that may make sense.

Has anyone else notice bacon something and l4zer_c4t as 2 easy to beat opponents when they r basically giving you points? ??

D3 something is starting to smell fishy

B@conM@gic. Anyway, those are called feeder teams. They feed points into the tournaments...

No, seriously. How do you view other players rosters. This I would like to do. A lot.

You don't have to, but it does help. And yes, I'd say it's suboptimal having to sacrifice a bunch of characters in retreating constantly.

I'm on android. Touching players names, nothing happening. Feeling foolish.

I find it REALLY odd that "tanking" is acknowledged by the devs as a viable strategy. This is clearly an exploit and the fact that it's accepted means that the devs know they have a problem. Why don't you just fix it?

Tanking is so counter-intuitive, nobody who isn't on the forums would have ANY CLUE that you could do this. Not only that but it's just not fun IMO...
