Hi,
I feel like i'm just hoarding characters and almost have no idea what I'm doing. At least in the sense of progressing more efficiently. I'd like some advice to develop some teams that suitable all around for pve & pvp, although specialized teams would be great too. Maybe which characters I should work on more, get rid of, rework, etc. Thanks!

we've all been where you are. looks like your strongest characters are obw, thor, and eventually daken. I would stop putting iso into anyone but those 3 and since daken is just beginning, go with the other 2 first - they make a great pair for lightning rounds and the seed matches in the pvp events. I don't see ares. ultimately ares will be a key, but thor will get you by for now. next time you get obw black and blue, respect her down to 3/5/5. her purple is much more usable at 3 covers and that maximizes the others that benefit from the 5th covers. also, thor is best at 3/5/5 when those covers come in. those would be my priority right now followed by storm and maybe wolverine or mags. don't worry about any of your *** because it will be a while before they are usable, but try and keep them if you can. if you haven't found northern polarity's guide, that will be a tremendous help for you:

under tips and guides it is "northern polaritys guide on going from 1* to 3*"

read it. play. then read it again. also, join a beginners alliance. you can join a public one but might be better if you can find one on the alliance thread. the extra iso and tips are helpful. good luck.

Northern Polarity's Guide is good starting point. Eventually, you'll have favorite teams that you like to play and play well. I agree that OBW, Thor, and eventually Daken are good choices. However, I wouldn't discount 2*Wolvie entirely. It looks like you prioritized ISO into him already. One thing I've noticed about using Daken with OBW is that Daken and OBW both have active blue powers. So, if he's paired with OBW, he's best to use as an end-game finisher as you may need to use OBW's blue to keep your team alive for the game. Under "Character Discussion", a group of people put a character ranking out last December based on 226 votes. This may help you a second perspective, in addition to N. Polarity's guide. I've heard discussion of a new one coming out later this month to parse the ranking with the new characters and character updates.

Ranking of 2* from Mischief Maker's Character Ranking 12/14 Edition: http://www.d3pforums.com/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=21083&hilit=character+ranking
    Highest to Lowest
    2* Black Widow (original)
    2* Ares
    2* Storm (classic)
    2* Thor
    2* Daken
    2* Magneto (Marvel Now)
    2* Wolverine (Astonishing)
    2* Hawkeye (modern)
    2* Human Torch
    2* Captain Marvel
    2* Captain America
    2* Bullseye
    2* Moonstone
    2* Bag Man

Though, it needs updating, the MPQ Wiki does a poll from the player community on best builds and is located on each character's page. Check it out: http://marvelpuzzlequest.wikia.com/wiki/Marvel_Puzzle_Quest_Wiki

As far as getting rid of characters...if you're hurting for roster space - 1* first. You only need one strong 1* to compete in Daily Deadpool Quest. Your IM35 should do the job. Your 3* will be built soon enough as you build your 2* and you may want to keep them to compete in the DAT Char Required node in DDQ. That's 3700 ISO and a 3* cover every day.
  • Your best 3 person team is currently Captain Marvel+Black Widow*+Thor

    2nd team: Iron Man/Storm/Black Widow*
Most people are unfamiliar with Captain Marvel because she's such a new 2*, but she has the best black power in 2* land. I agree with respeccing OBW to 3/5/5 and that Moonstone is probably the first character to drop if any.
