    Sold both. Took Hood from 66 to 104 and I can look forward to heroic tokens again.

    Magneto will be nerfed - thats for sure
    Hulk has good life, damage is not as good as it should , with Patch they will have good intimidation factor

    Now this, this will ensure diversity. Rebuilding the covers shouldn't be a major issue (I've already been building towards 3/3/3 with dupes in anticipation of the changes), but finding the ISO to 85 them again? Yeah, not in a hurry, not if you're going to dump the one-off lump into budding 3*s.

    Tempting as it is, who are you going to use instead? You need something in a decent state if you want to keep playing the game. Punisher's a meh but usable **Wolv stand-in with meh AoE and meh Doomtiles for good measure. Patch really isn't, he's a somewhat bizarre specialist who looks like some dev was all "You like strike tiles, huh? Fine, have ALL the strike tiles. How d'you like them apples?". Unless you 3/5/5 him, but then you're no fun and should be using Punisher. Ares is Thor without the board control, I guess, which makes sense now Thor's primarily color control/feeder with Sniper Rifle Lite eventually.

    I predict at least some angry foresight-deficient folk fielding level 30 Captain Americas in tournaments for the next week or two.

    After doing the math, and noticing I could level Punisher and Spiderman to 100.. I'm gonna hock 'em. The HP will be a bonus. It might come back to nip me when some Avengers tournament pops up that's worth anything (the current pay-to-enter one is a little out of my league), but I can't think of any other format where 2* Wolverine would be allowed while 3/4* wouldn't. I'll have no regrets, Frank Castle is too damn cool.

    I can't possible sell my characters. I'd retire them perhaps. Maybe immortalize them as a monument for the months of service and wins they got me. But sell them? To me, that's disrespectful (yes, I know they're just imaginary characters).

    The thing that bugs me about this is that I don't really have the option to sell because I don't have enough alternatives to pump the ISO into. My Punisher, Hulk, Patch, Spidey, etc are all missing a lot of covers... and since I don't have the first for some (I'd kill for a Hulk black!!), I can't even buy them with HP.

    As others have said in the other thread, nerfing these guys is great for making people use something else... except there isn't a lot of viable choice for alternatives.

    I have to decide if it is worth selling my 4/5/1 Thor which I can make 4/5/4. Considering that his red ability is weak, I would only lose the 5th level in green. Almost 250/125 damage less. Selling him for only 1800 ISO and 150HP feels like a waste.
    Wolverine is even harder to decide. He is lv76 and 5/3/4. Again I would only lose the 5th red. I think it translated to ~350 less damage (I assume it will be ~2550 instead of 2880), which isn't little.

    **Wolverine's yellow has been made into a clear dump skill. If you expect to be using him much in future, I'd say you want to ditch the one you have because that 4th yellow isn't doing anything for him. Problem is if you want to keep using him now and don't know how long you have to take Demiurge up on their offer, since that'll leave you with no one.

    If you just want to flood red with weak strike tiles, though, you might as well level Daken.

    I'm leaning towards keeping thor and ditching.wolvie...except I really Wang to turn my thor into a 3/5/5 now as, after using him, the red on thor is garbage now. The 3 yellow is pitiful. Saving up 16 red to make 6 yellow tiles is stupid, and the damage is lower than before. It's just not a good move anymore. The yellow is fine @5. Makes thor a green builder now as his main roll...either for himself or, Better yet, for someone like grey suit (should be nerfed in the next month) or patches. Certainly the 1400 damage or so you lost is sorely missed, but its not totally destructive. Regardless tho..I used thor a lot as a third and now I feel obligated to relegate him to specific situations. Wolvie I just don't see myself ever using again unless he is boosted.


    Could a dev plz give a timeframe on the sale boost so we van actually make an.educated decision?

    I second this. I want to try them out thoroughly before I make a decision of selling a character I've been using for a long time.

    Also, if IceIX (or any of the other reds) would be so kind, could you also let us know if there are any events planned where Thor or 2* Wolverine would be buffed? I'd hate to sell Thor and have Divine Champions 2 start the next day....

    He also heals 146hp every turn 6 or more yellow are on the board while Wolverine heals only if he is below 50% and only if you make a yellow match.

    just sold off! my builds were just too poor considering the new powers.

    got a few of my guys to the 125/100 thresholds i've been trying to achieve, still got about 15k ISO in the bank. woo!

    Sold my 56 Thor, finally got the last yellow cover on him too last week heh...I was using 85 Ares since that tourney anyways and with the rumors of him being nerfed didn't want to invest. He was capped with no covers forever so it stunted his growth.

    85 Wolfie will be cashed in I believe, funnel it into my two 3*'s. It will leave an awkward gap in my roster but thems the daggers I guess.

    I gotta say guys I really wish more of the threads were like this. Exactly the information I was looking for without having to wade through a bunch of negative useless whining.

    Just got two new thor covers as rewards (surprise), and currently have him max out with 5,3,5. So will rebuild him 3,5,5 and get my punisher and spidey to 100 easily along with building some other's up like obw.

    Spidey is due for nerfing as well right? Will hold my breath on him.

    I agree. It would help with Funbalancing too. It's hard to create team diversity when iso is always in short supply.

    My only concern with selling Thor and Wolvie is that they will be the featured covers in future events...
