Pvp scoring

Last night I hit 890 and decided to take a 24hr shield. In that time I wasn't attacked once, not once. Now with 3hrs left I play 2 games, after game 1 I earn 32pts and loose 92, nuts I think and play one more for 21pts loosing 94.
Is it me or is this scoring system a bit off? I mean, I could be playing right now instead of ranting behind a shield.

    Aside from a brief period at the very beginning where you still might be queued up due to latency, you don't show up in people's PVP nodes while you're shielded

    Aside from that, yes, the scoring system in this game is bonkers

    Also, the final 3 hours of PVP are the most vicious.

    The scoring system is terrible.

  • Yeah it is severely stupid. I think the scoring should be more like an arcade game but they won't do anything different. They would have to redo the entire structure. Shields are asinine. Multiple defensive point losses are asinine. But they've kind of painted themselves into a corner so what can you do.
