Right?

3 Greens for Ragnorak
1 Red and 1 Yellow for Colossus
2 Greens for GSBW
2 Reds for Captain Marvel
2 Blues for Doctor Octopus

I have all of those covers about to expire today and don't care about ANY of them. What should I do? I'd rather sell them all for Iso since I know all of them are rated very lowly on all of our Tier Lists, but I still get nervous at selling 3* characters. These ones are sooooo bad though. lol

I know that Doc Ock might get reworked, so everyone told me to keep him just in case....but they also told me to keep Rags too, and look at how HE turned out.

:+/

Any and all advice is appreciated. Thank you and Happy Sunday.

  • If it's a roster space issue and you can't get any extra spaces then by all means sell them. However, even trash characters will take their turn powered-up, boosted and appearing in DDP. For some this is reason enough to hold on to them. Remember that just a single appearance in DDP is worth more ISO than selling a 4 star (a 3star cover and 2k ISO)
  • GSBW is just terrible, I would definitely sell her, I like marvel but her red is her worst colour so probably sell those too. To be honest if you don't have the space just sell them all, much better to invest the ISO into the better characters who in turn will win you more covers.

It's hard to properly advise without your roster but generally speaking...

GSBW is a FUN characters who has arguably the best critical trigger ability and green generating ability in the game. She also see's occasional lovin in the PvE's especially limited roster ones. I'd say her character is fun enough and strong enough to warrant keeping even though her hit points really suck.

Captain Marvel is a solid defensive character when buffed. If this new PvP format sticks around I think she'll be valued a bit higher. Especially with the recent Thor nerf preventing simple one-shots. Her red can save your life in PvE especially on that event with massively leveled Hood+Mag nodes. Destroying spamed protect tiles comes in handy. She's a super niche character though and should be given a much lower priority than GSBW. Still, I'd keep her if possible.

Doc Oct will eventually get buffed. Whether this process takes another 2 months or 16 months is unknown but it will happen. Who knows if he'll be playable post nerf. He should get lowest priority to keep of the above but I'd say he's worth holding on to just in case.

While I'm against selling 3* covers at all in principal. If you absolutely have to I'd get rid of Colossus first...then Rags. Rags is a damage sponge who can help generate AP for other characters. He's not complete garbage. Colossus on the other hand is useless. His black is costly and unreliable though fun. HIs yellow is unreliable with Luke Cage doing the same thing but better...and his red is strong but not enough to justify his use.
  • I would rank them similar* to babinro but switch Rags and Colossus. While the high HP is nice for Rags, I just didn't worry about him in the latest PVP. He was an afterthought for both sides. It was mostly a 2-on-2 battle. Colossus still has a decent threat power in red and a helpful yellow ability when trying to protect a weak character like Hood (though why in the world would you put Hood and Colossus on the same team! Intimidation would be the opposite of the desired effect)

    * strongly agree that GSBW is very squishy but a lot of fun. In my hands, she's one of my strongest. In computer hands, she's awful and an instant defensive loss in PVP
  • GSBW is a solid support char for LThor - her Pink feeds Thor's green quite effectively (also feeds her own green which is also AoE and hits the whole team hard) and can do a nice job rearranging the board. I have been using LThor, BP and GSBW which gives me the full rainbow (with a weak but serviceable LThor red). As stated above, on defense, the CPU does not know how to use her properly - but she can be useful on offense.
  • I'd keep Ragnarok, put some iso into him, and then sell him for HP.
