    (not sure what vets bracket is but my season score is over 11k, so maybe that's a vet bracket?)

    Just want to use this to point out again that there are always 2 vet brackets and 1 noobie bracket open at the same time.

    I'm in the other concurrently open vet bracket in slice 4. At 9:15 EST, we're at 701 players, and xjessicas is in 1st with 6509 points.

    It's not a big deal that there are two open at the same time. Just want people to realize that if someone posts that their bracket has closed, there may be one that's still open at 950, or new and up to 50 already. Best guess is that some manner of coin flip is done to push people into bracket A or B, meaning they'll be even on average, but there could certainly be a string of flips putting more into one than the other.

    Either way, with the subs ending in less than 3 hours, probably best to wait until these fill, and not be a sub behind.

    Thanks for mentioning this. I was not aware there are 2 brackets open at the same time. So even if someone takes a risk and decides to join late, forgetting the progression rewards, he still may get screwed. This sucks. If I had any doubt the game could be even worse, this answers my question.

    Oh well, this doesn't change much for me. I'll still join in one of the first 3 slices when a new bracket opens (if it does at all) and try my best. I just wish the character looked better. When she was part of my team I checked her screen and she gave me the chills. A creepy looking kid with a hag's face and terrible fashion sense.

    Keeping in mind that there might be two vet brackets in this slice (slice 4):
    Currently at 925, Davyx with 16880 is first, Human Torch with 16860 is second.

    I hope you get better placement than me, I came in at 880 about an hour ago. With that in mind, it's likely just over an hour before the bracket will fill.
