Something very weird happen to me in this tour. I jumped as soon as it opened. I got up to 168pts and was put in first place all of a sudden every match was against rank 250 + people (i even spent 200 iso on skips ) and they were all rank 250+

did the AI spike cause at one time i was rank first in the braket, maybe an insane vet bracket or event just messy

Also noticed i fought a few level 23 - 30 iron man...i though iron man was pushed to rank 100?

He's bumped to level 100 if you had him maxed at 50. The 23-30 probably are around level 10-15 base. It's not quite a % level buff anymore (seems like it's a % of level + some number) but it should still be pretty close.

Bad luck by you i think getting owned by the ez bake oven doubling as a d3 server.

i managed fine. I have a fully upgraded 2 power ragnarok who now serves as nothing more than a tank and an otherwise deep team and played until j got some hero points so i could put up a 1 day shield.

i faced mostly marginal opponents except seeing many 170 ares which is an absolute joke.

some idiot had a 94 black widow and a 170 ares and i got 2 sunders, 2 onslaughts and a rampage. If i didnt have a stacked team i would have been toast.

weighing a nerfed magneto against this really validates my disgust.

P.s. sadly i could care less.about the prizes. I hate miss marvel's power absorption. Ive got her fully covered but wont waste my iso.

anyone else not seeing the seed teams like normal? I usually see seed teams and under leveled/under covered teams up into the 200s. Here my 3rd match is against maxed IM and Ares. Hope this isn't how the rest is going to go...

Maybe you're just too far ahead of the field right now? If you're willing to wait like half a day, the AI will be able to find better matches for your roster.

Who are you guys mainly using for this one.

The plan that got me 2nd place last pvp "patch tanking green for ares" isn't working this time.
I still plan on climbing with ares and OBW and using buffed ares/thor for protection once i get really high.

Been having a lot of fun with patch and im40. Recharge into berserk ballistic, everyone dies. A little slow, but satisfying to see im40 blast the opposing team for 6k+ dmg. Rags red is also a very good time.

2nd event in a row where i got top 5!

never happened before. pretty cool.

I tried to catch up to first but this guy was way ahead and the opponents i was getting matched up with were insane.

and i did get my rewards already.

This is the event I hated the most in a long, long time. Every time I hopped someone around 600 would find me and because obviously everyone has maxed hood and lthor, I'd get pinged for 40+ points. Multiple times a hop.

I prejoined slice 5 and had a surprisingly civilised shieldhopping experience. Points were pretty thin on the ground and I figured my hope of getting IW was a lost cause.

But every time I made a 3-match hop after my first shield (at 798?), attacks would only come in right after I reshielded. Even got a couple of defense wins to my im40/patch before I got serious and switched to Thor/hood. Not sure if the attackers were waiting for me to finish my hop or just slow, but it was nice.

Got my IW, and new rags made my im40 slightly more playable, so all things considered, I'm happy with this season.
