I've been using Lazy Daken/Patch/Loki in this, and boosted, they are just a broken combo in this thing.

I wish they could solve this issue with cycling through pvp node after node with only 3 point fights available. What a waste of ISO cycling through all the rubbish just to get something reasonable, say 18+, points.

I don't agree with pr83 at all but it's a little more that just denying green. I'd wager juggs red and ares yellow are just as important to deny. I think a key is having a stealer on your team, enter loki/hood and in the lower ranks, obw. I won many matches with my old ares/obw team but got hit - a lot.

You won't. The 5th purple cover is the most important cover for Daken.

Personally, I think a 553 setup is best for Laken.

Yeah, i've been seeing a lot of 3-5 point matches myself. That's why I decided I will have at least 20,000 iso on hand so that I could cycle could as much as necessary to find a decent match. If you can do some of the daily deadpool nodes, it helps a lot in replenishing your iso hoard.

You'll be surprised at how determined the AI is in making green matches and magically letting the home team make 4/5 green tile matches.

At the starting of FA, I used a lot of Ares/Jug +Patch/Laken combos. Of course, having max Patch/Laken discouraged ppl from retal'ing on me.

Welcome to the club - used them during hotshot. This is the most hilarious combo of "buffed" characters to have(Patch/Daken/Ares) and you will **** everyone up.

I hope u keep yourself shielded, because you're going to attract players w/ XF teams. Patch/Ares combo is highly susceptible to Surgical Strike for green colors. that's why Patch/Ares is only good for climbing, but not as a defensive team. Same deal w/ patch/lazy thor too.

Yeah, that's why when I was nice and comfy in 1st place i alternated to thor/ares/daken.
only been hit like 5 times in 12+ hours and won 3 of them.

I know I saw camichan once in Slice 1. The well is completely dry at the moment. Everyone is shielded up and I haven't been able to find anything over 4 points except for very rare occasions. I went through 2000 iso, but I can't imagine 20000 iso. What a waste. And it makes no sense. MojoWild was #2 behind me and he made a hop. I wanted to queue and hit him after he reshielded but I couldn't find him! 1000 iso cycling through opponents and I can't see the guy right behind me who is unshielded?!?!? Does that make any sense whatsoever?

Same here. I refresh by cycling from the event rules to the player ranks tab over and over to see instant updates of who's shielded or not, and some one near me goes unshielded, I burn ISO like mad to queue him/her and end up cycling through a dump truck of 3 pointers while my next door neighbor hops right by me. (It's not even that I'm gonna snipe anyone. I always wait til they shield up before attacking.) But even as a good samaritan I can't catch a break. Aggravating.

Sitting here with 645 points and an 8 hour shield When the event ends in 7 hours.

Should I not get my hopes up? Will someone usually pass that by?

Honestly depends on your bracket, if you're in a vet bracket I wouldn't get too attached, but generally by now if you were in a vet bracket there would be scores around 1,000. It's still likely someone will overtake you, but who knows?

Gah! I was 25 points away from the Elektra cover. Found a 35 point match, but by the time I won I had been attacked 3 times. This is totally my fault though. The buffs are throwing me off, so I'm playing way too carefully and it's slowing me down. Ended up dropping to 913, and now I can't find any matches worth more than 15 points. Oh well, I'll try again in 3 hours.

On the plus side, I got a from the 800 token. Woot! He's now 2/2/4.

Also, I totally picked the wrong slice. I usually go for slice 1 but it looks like I picked slice 5. This is the first time I'm stuck down here. This'll be fun.

well went to bed in 12 got up and was 32th. I played a few games and after finding out a very easy way to take down a pumped ares when you have one was able to come in 5th with 512 pts (first time ever broke the 500 mark)

1 of each raggie colors 5000 ISO and 100HP. dumped the 5000 ISO into raggie pushign them from 40 to 60 i think.... Really dont care about the final Event of the season since i really will never use her

I think a full third of my total points in this event were from defensive wins. I stalled out at ~325 points on my own (after getting help defensively to even get there), but ended up north of 450. Presumably, this was entirely due to Ares. What a strange event...

Last event I had 9 defensive wins. This one, I've had only one so far. I'm running a laken/180xf/deadpool team. Yup, I'm very squishy. Have some marshmallows.
