So is there any point to TUs?

If TU's can no longer scale above a character's max level, is there a point to team ups? As is, it seems like people only want utility TU's (IF purple, GSBW purple, Loki purple, Storm/Jugg green, OBW purple, MBW blue, etc.) and if the super damage emergency PvE-obtained ones are going away, why not just let every player use MBW blue whenever they want? Let us keep our 5 favorite ones and get unlimited uses out of them until we choose to destroy them. Right now you're just forcing us to hassle our alliancemates begging them for replacements every time we use them - the end result is the same, an unlimited number of stuns.
I'd recommend keeping the system as is except TU's aren't consumed after usage. Each TU can only be used once per fight so if you really want a lot of stuns you'll be forced to bring MBW x3. I'd also recommend at least partially separating TU's and boosts (allow us to bring up to 4 things, maximum of 3 AP boosts / 3 TU's / 3 damage boosts - you choose the combination) so that TU tiles aren't completely useless if you're AP boosting.
Right now TU's just feel like a hassle. I can't use them during hard fights because my slots were already taken up by boosts. In fights where I bring them along, when I finally gather enough AP to use them the match usually has already been decided and it feels like more of a hassle to use it and replace it than to take a little damage and just straight up win. Contrast this with the AI hitting me with Whales, RotP, Windstorm or a variety of cascade generators and it just leaves me frustrated.

I use them a lot in PVE, DDQ, and on my climb in PVP.0

They've also changed the AI's team ups levels. The levels now scale according to the AI levels but with max of * rating. Previously it was at base levels so even if you get hit by eg. a Rage of Panther, you wouldnt be worried too much. Now it's a lvl of 166 Rage...0

I miss the environmental tiles. I thought it was more fun to find fun combos with the different environment powers, and I would much rather let the AI use those than the team-ups. I agree with the original post that they are more annoying and do not really add fun to the game. I am sure they are much more useful though for new players as they can help win matches and gives them a peak at some characters they might not have yet.0
