Guys, please take this in the spirit it's intended, which is with the best of intentions towards the success of your company.

Someone's head has to roll for this. You need to build a culture of accountability in your organization that these continued missteps cannot be tolerated. I don't believe I am exaggerating in saying that so much of your customer base has been on the brink during these days, and I think you know it. And the only positive gesture you are making towards these customers gets screwed up?! Something that's perhaps the most scrutinized release in the history of this game?

Every employee needs to know that they need to do their job or they won't have one. If people even think for one moment that it's ok to have this level of carelessness with the most important activities of your company, and you're doomed. Again, all this is said with the most constructive intentions and I hope you take it in that way.

    1) First, there is not a policy stating the buy back starts at the exact time the change goes into effect. I am sorry you might have to wait less than 24 hours from the time the change started until the buy back starts.

    2) Secondly, it appears from the comments provided, the buy back should have started today, but there is a glitch in the patch. Feel free to fire the patch.

    3) Could you try to be a little understanding? Do you feel that you should be fired at your job everytime there is an error or a customer is unhappy? Really?

    4) Seeing how volatile eveything on the forums has been, do you really think it's best to make big issues out of small things?

    5) Unfortunately, they're not perfect. They have made a lot of improvements. I just wish people like you would not jump on their case about every little thing.

Thank you. Have a nice day.

I should have mentioned that I have no interest in the buyback. I will neither profit from it or lose anything if it's not done. And I do understand and appreciate the improvements, and have said as much. Feel free to look through my post history if you don't believe me.

I am simply pointing out that a company needs to follow through on its commitments, and You are either being disingenuous or have a huge tolerance for continued, significant, repeat errors that I would say most other people would not have. I like the game and bear D3 no ill will. But something is wrong in its corporate culture that these huge mistakes keep happening.

No, not everyone should be fired for one mistake, but are you really arguing that this is not pattern behavior? Anyway, You are right that too much drama is not a good thing so I'll back off, fm having said my piece

And having re-read my post, I apologize for the comment about firing someone - it's too harsh. But I do stand behind the sentiment that something really needs to be done about the repeated failures. This is far from the worst issue this game has faced - that's not the point. But how are missed requirements and unintended consequences now the rule rather than the exception?

    Have a good evening, everyone

Good on you for owing up to being a bit too harsh there, +100 respect points from me*.

And I do agree that D3 need to take a long hard look at how these kind of technical mistakes (and I don't count character balance issues alongst those, that's a difference kettle of fish altogether) keep happening, and see how they can improve their quality control.

*Respect points are not exchangable for HP, ISO or Deadpool points. Any advertised offer to exchange respect points for a taco** are only valid in Genosha, Wakanda or Latveria.

    ** crispy taco's only.

Hey guys, we're aware of this issue and looking into. Expect an update tomorrow, and hopefully a full resolution.

Might as well include Daredevil too, since he did not have increased byuback too.

( Even though all his abilities recieved a nerf. max dmg, max stun turns, and max AP steal - all lower on new version )

On second thought, having a delay between nerfs going into effect and buyback is a good idea. Most people just say "he sucks, I haven't used him but it looks bad so will immediately sell" instead of actually playing with them to find out or not. They very well might come to the same conclusion but at least they came to it themselves and not based on rhetoric.

Sale prices are available. What a joke. 2500 for thor. 10k would have been reasonable. I bought 3 covers alone for her.

    Yup buyback in effect.
My fully covered MnMags is only worth 450 HP.

Thats not too bad for MNMags though, i have nearly built a fully covered one since the announcements first hit. Unless they take him out of rotations he should be easy to rebuild again.

I have max MnMags - he's 34765 iso and 550HP, which is half the iso invested. Basically he's a 34765 iso to 550HP battery right now, which is great.

I already built a 2nd since they announced the change, and have 8/13 of a 3rd in queue, which I'll add as soon as I sell the first one.

Levels matter more than covers. If your 'fully covered' mags isn't level 94 that's why you are falling short of the 550 you could have. (you need covers to get levels, but you have to also put in the levels to get the HP)
  • Damn, I forgot about the buyback option and sold my MNM 10 days ago to make some room. Oh well, he was barely leveled anyway so no big loss.
  • Buy back is up and running Folks!

Get to Selling those stockpiled covers!

Ooh boy, after buying 8 covers, my 12/13 level 250 4Thor can be sold for 2250 HP. Less than the cost of one 4* cover. THANKS D3!!!

Honestly, it doesn't matter that much because I don't want a refund. I want you to make her not ****.

Nerf? needed. Overnerf? Well, look at the forums right now.

Try listening to the players next time.
  • When I stop seeing tgt in SIM I'll believe she's been over nerfed. She's hasn't been seen in the PvP feature event because with lThor buffed he was better. Same could be said about patch vs xforce. I'm sure when the new season begins I'll be running into plenty of both.
