1/26 weekend: not really fun

That's the bottom line unfortunately. I thought the devs are awake even on Sunday and issue some hotfix before Scotland Yard launches.

So what we had:

- an otherwise cool Punisher tournament with pairing nightmare -- even more manifest than before, with quite total unability to progress anywhere on "top" where top starts at puny 500 pts. People could chose jojoing between 700 and 400 or shield up in a random moment before the -150 pack hits.
- the first PvE episode that turned out shall be played backwards. and increasing levels all over the board by insane amonts
- the second episode that started carrying over the levels from the first, so many people faced 230 folks tight in the initial mission
- despite there was some intermediate patch the third episode did the same
- turned out you can bring down levels by deliberate health loss, so should tank by sacrificing odd teammates
- the event featuring Patch runs with him bugged -- so whoever have him can shell out insane amount of swords all for himself and just click away even the 230 mobs

Many of the hardcore people said that they just stop playing the pve this way -- maybe just as casual to see story.
I definitely closed the weekend wit grief despite winning several patch covers, most of the experience is unpleasant. Especially the jojo in normal tournament, this drag-down-the-leader fest that's bad enough with regulars but I saw you added the 45+ pts packs so the 0 pt folks can also take a bite.

I strongly suggest you considering where the fun from playing comes. Part of it is winning an individual games, but that is not enough -- there shall be a feeling/ability of some steady progress. Instead what is happening is the better you play the more punishment you get. A route to make people drop out.

Well at the very least the Patch Wolverine issue is known about. They announced it before R46 went out that they knew the patch would bug, erm, Patch. He'll be fixed in R47, so they said in the meantime enjoy this feeling of an overpowered Patch.
