In-game message about j.mp site legit?

I'm getting the following message in my Android client:

CHARACTER UPDATES

Several characters are getting balance updates. These changes will take effect on 3/23/15.

Updated Characters:
Thor (Goddess of Thunder)
Iron Fist (Immortal Weapon)
Mystique (Raven Darkholme)
Magneto (Marvel NOW)

I'm embarrassed to say I tried going to that site, and am now hoping that it didn't do anything too awful to my phone...

Anyone know what's going on with this in-game message and if it's legit or the client's been hacked or...?

    Yes, its legit. Its their ingame announcement of the nerfs they posted to the forum over a week ago....that go live Monday.

    Weird... Tried going there again and still get an error page. Something about a fish named billy not knowing stuff.

    The url is case sensitive. j.mp/mpqcharupdate will not work. j.mp/MPQCharUpdate will.
