I think they mentioned this in their first video Q&A? As in, referencing The Hulk event with the worldwide accumulation score, saying they didn't want to run those anymore, as we (the players) were erratic at how many points were being accumulated. I think they said they massively underestimated the first time, overestimated the second and had to drop the target number to accommodate this. Along those lines anyways...

I was in those events. The hulk one wasn't too bad, took a little time, but eventually everyone got their hulk.

Wanna know what stopped people playing the Sentry introduction event? Scaling of individual nodes was beyond horrible. I remember facing 250+ goon squads in the second last sub (Hell's Kitchen, indeed). I remember Boosting to try to clear hero nodes in the last sub. And dying. So many times. There was literally no way that people were going to make the progression score given the scale of the nodes, because people couldn't play them. So they dropped the required amount.

Anyway, main issues were not that the score was set high, it's that reaching that score was made impossible. If they remove the scaling and the time limit, it'd be fine. Give people some progression rewards and make the event count towards a common goal (have it 'standardised' as when 50% of the -currently- playing population reaches 100% of the progression rewards, the event unlocks the major prize) it'd be great.

My thoughts, no data to back them up. icon_e_biggrin.gif

Well that's one reason they mentioned. Another is that the (death) sharding really does help balance the load on their servers, which a global bracket would probably kill

I was thinking of a cooperative new event that takes place every 2 weeks that cost 1000 HP to join a 3 day event but can net you a featured 4*and/or new 3* one of each color in addition to any placement/ progressive rewards if cooperative goals are met. The first one could be Sentinals and Master Mold 2 days of points and story, ending on 3rd day in fighting master mold with millions of health and progressive rewards( may he takes 2 turns for every one of players to make stuns less effective or gains AP every turn regardless of stun ending match on turn 10 or 15) based on how much total damage you did to master mold. 1 cover unlocked in 1 st day story total amount of community points required, 1 for day 2 total amount of community points required and to unlock master mold, 3rd for total damage community goal on master mold. 4* with all unlocked. You can substitute with any random villain.
