PvP Slices

I know certain PvP slices are better for getting a higher rank or for scoring higher points, but I don't know which slice is good for which.

Can someone please explain what each slice is good for?

    its ENTIRELY there for your very own real life schedule.

    that said, its good to keep different timezones in mind: east/west coast of the usa and europe prefer other slices.

    another thing to keep in mind, is how much on shields u wanna spent? u wanna cover the endtimes of an event with only 1 shield. if u can hop and have the HP to do so its another story, but most transitioners only really wanna buy one or two shields alltogether.
