Game won't start on Android

I have a new Dell Venue 7 and tried loading Marvel Puzzle Quest. It goes through loading screens and stops on a screen with Spiderman, Wolverine, and Iron Man. Iron Man has a glowing center that dims when I press the screen, so it isn't exactly dead. It says "Launch Edition" at the bottom, but whatever I press or do the game just stays on that screen. Anybody else having a similar problem? I tried installing and reinstalling, no effect.

Try to skip the tutorial in the settings (in the corner)

Mine works fine on android x86 / intel atom - however its not a venue

i have exactly the same problem on asus memo pad 10. i have emailed asus and d3p today for this issue and w8ting the replies
