    I've been running storm/Magneto/Hawkeye. Match purple as much as you can. Use makes purple to create a match 5, and fire off windstorm. Then do cleanup.

    Draken & Wolverine cover your color spectrum.

    You can use them paired with Hawkeye, which would just be placed specifically for his SpeedShot. As he will not be in front for any color.

    Also, I primarily use Storm as a third. As the AoE attack is great.

    Storm/Mags/Hawk...
    Even after nerf it is still the go to team. Why?

    Daken heals himself and does solid damage, but his strike tiles are only annoying at 2*, blue is better used with Storm, and his powers don't do anything against enemy countdown tiles except possible green matches into cascade from a 'single' green tile popping up.

    Ares can do immense damage, but he either hurts himself (a big no-no for endurance events) or gives the computer resources, exactly what you DON'T want in endurance based events, sure the goon may not put it to use, but there is nothing like someone popping up and blasting you with a character ending power. Does NOTHING against CD tiles.

    Wolverine, I haven't even bothered playing in like a year, he's just a one trick pony. Does NOTHING against CD tiles.

    OBW, a good substitute for one of the above, healing, AP theft, and hits hard. Even delays CD tiles.

    Thor, maybe I'm spoiled from 3* usage, but he feels so weak at 2*, CoS isn't a game ender, and his dmg output while solid, simply doesn't keep up with Stormneto. He does help with CoD via cascades, and has good health.

    So why Stormneto/Hawkeye even after nerf? Easy, it still works. Instead of getting 2-3 match fives, I only get one, but truth of the matter is that is all it takes anyway. Also, the new reds are GREAT, as they feed Blast Arrow for GREAT AoE dmg or Mags red attack to either put down 'anyone' or clear a large section of the board due to fear of CD tiles. The team has NOT really been nerfed, simply avoiding red has made them ironically stronger (earlier today I got a match 5 for blue, but then the reds made another match 5...)

    If you are doing the 2* progression its safe to assume you have Stormneto, if not you have Thor Widow, add Hawkeye to either team, or Magneto to ThowWidow and there is no reason you shouldn't breeze through it. It's not hard in the slightest.

    You don't have a maxed black OBW, do you....

    Daken's strike tiles -- or, specifically, the additional damage to the underlying attack that they add -- count as a separate attack for Espionage purposes. So Daken's strike tiles multiply OBW's attack PLUS they continue to add damage on their own.

    Daken's strike tiles + generating more strike tiles with Wolvie + any purple/black/blue match if OBW is the attack for that color = whoa nelly. It's not as good as Stormneto -- the stun and team damage of Wind Storm always will be better -- but it's certainly a highly viable combination.

    I do, I;m well aware of the damage buff with espuionage, but I'm pretty entrenched in "powers>matches", because of the combinations of damage, board shake-up, and stuns.

    For the DP event, it isn;t hard at all, you should be able to win it frankly with any 2*, but for me, I simply can;t put a lot of time into playing so its "win as fast as possible", except for the 4 wave node, where I use a slow but fun team (cmags/falcon/blade). Yes, OBW + Strike tiles is good damage, but even you admitted, Storm still blows it away (pun slightly intended)...soo feeding Storm to get off is still the best move, but while you don't use as big a spoon (though still large enough frankly), you now also have a fork to power Mags red attack which kills EVERYTHING in pretty much one hit, and in one turn, and clears pesky CD and Strike Tiles and Protect tiles, its always been a great power, just held back by Storm being the damage dealer, but now its free, and with you chasing the blue/puprle tiles, there is a surplus of red on the board, which leads to cascades, match 4s and 5s, which feed Hawkeye also.

    My qualm with say a Wolverine/Daken/OBW team is that you are chasing too many colors, Daken wants you to match green and blue, wolverine wants you to match green and red, OBW wants to match purple/blue and for dmg black, so if yo uare attacking with OBW, you AREN'T putting out strike tiles, and if you are chasing strike tiles are wolverines red attack, then OBW isn't doing anything but healing and stealing AP, both of which aren't necessary and don't do a ton for 'these' fights.

    If I wanted to NOT use Stormneto, it would most likely be Daken/Thor/OBW or Thor/OBW/HT. No reason to use wolverine if you have Thor, I'll take cascades over strike tiles that require a bunch of green to be worth a tinykitty. Whole point would be to match yellow then green tiles, if I get a few red matches mixed in there, HT puts it to GREAT use (with a little board shake-up too), any purple or blue I'll use as an accessory AP theft/self heal. Thunderstrike to CoS would be the goal.

    OBW + Daken + Thor or Ares works for both. I prefer to use Thor for the survival node and Ares for the non survival node since Call the Storm can often wipe out the first 3 guys in the second wave in one shot. You shouldn't need to use Anti-Grav on goons because your opponents are generally weak enough that you can just kill them by match 3s between Phermone Rage and double dipping on Espionage.

    I like Thor / Magneto / OBW for both, never really had any issues outside some freak cascade avalanches icon_lol.gif

    use Ares/Storm/Wolvie. Keep OBW for the big fight with Deadpool/Thor. Need the health up for the fourth wave. (all char max 94/166)

    I see why people love 2 star "thormneto" so much I only have a level 70 storm and thor, and a level 39 magneto and I'm able to squeak by this node.
