Arena Tournament Glitch

I've been playing the Arena all weekend so i could win first place and get The Moonstone cards and i did end up finishing in first about an hour ago. I was about 80 points ahead of the guy in 2nd. Well i start playing the current tournament with the red ISO. after i finish the first mission i get a notice that i just lost 3 times and 96 points in the Arena!!! Now how can this be if the Arena event already finished?! i go back to see if the Arena is still there on my tablet and nothing there. While i do that i get a notice that i just lost again in the arena!!! i check my phone and sure enough there is still 3 hrs left in the Arena Event on my phone and now im in 3rd place!!!

Is it now a bad thing to have this game on 2 devices because youll end up getting screwed up?! I better end up getting my Moonstone cards after all the hard work i put in! Ever since the patch this game has been turning to ****. im getting to the point where im just about to uninstall, if they keeping screwing up.

It sounds like you have your clock set ahead on your tablet. The Event timers are set client side, so if the time is ahead on one, it will do exactly what you're describing.

well that sounds like it could be exploited easily if that is true. so somebody could set there clock behind if they area event has stopped to keep on getting points?! well i still cant access the Arena regardless but thanks for trying to help anyways. just really hope i dont get screwed over again like i did with the last update after i continue to spend money to support this game. The devs are really annoying me now i've already paid over $100 on this game. i could of already bought GTA 5 and pre-order COD:Ghosts or finished paying on my PS4 pre-order lmao

Nah, this always happens and it's because people queued up to play just before the tournament Window would be locked out. They take their time choosing an opponent and getting buffs and playing. When they finally finish is when you get the notice. It's also why they wait an hour before polling the results.

so pretty much what what your trying to say is im screwed after all the hours i put in this weekend... story of my life well if that is true then im done with this game and im taking my money else where. might as well just start getting my next gen games pre-ordered and paid for instead of supporting a dev who cant even get a small event right

How would you solve the issue of players in mid battle when the magic hour arrives then? Anyone who is still in there is on their last play. Period. That could be you or not. I'm sure if you have a fantastic idea on how to solve this issue the devs would implement it if it would work.

that has happened to me before being in 6th place in an event and i was in battle when the time ran out. i won and yet still stayed in 6th so i wasnt even awarded for some of the good prizes so yeah i've been there done that and got screwed. i love the game or did anyways but its always something with this thing.

The server will still tell your device that the time for the Tournament is over, so turning time back wouldn't have any effect. Turning time back also has some pretty nasty effects on healing and Health Pack regen, so it's pretty well self correcting.

honestly, it sounds like ur tablet had the wrong time (its based on the system time so if that's ahead (in ur case, sounds like three hours or pst/est difference), it'll show the tournament being done. however, the tournament done time is actually 9pm pst, 12est, so that's generally when the event ends.
