    So DD reward for 900, IW for 1k and GSBW for rank rewards. This is the most boring PVP we had ever since I came back. That Stick and Stones was also quite boring and that The Hunt introduces PX who isn't interesting enough (yet), is a Godsend. No incentive to play which is a good thing since I needed a break.

    This is the strangest event I've ever played. Went from 3 seed teams straight to mid-leveled 3* teams. No under leveled 2*s, no 94s

    I have a feeling that time of day and how early in pvp makes a difference in the the types of teams that you see. I have a 18 maxed 3* and I see only 2* teams up through 500. I play mostly through the day, so I don't really see the highlevel high point teams.

    In some ways, I'm much rather see max level 166 if that meant that I would get some more 30 and 40 pt matches.

    But I usually start in shard 1 and I play from the very start till about 600 points. Then I chill until I'm about to make the move to 1K

    Loki is superb if you have high lvl DD, don't like place of your trap - use purple icon_cool.gif

    As long as the opponent hasn't placed down their own red trap tile - I have been kicked tonight by a 249 DD, and it was not pleasant.

    This was a pretty quiet event for me. I guess the **** rewards and the low morale lead to lower scores. Top 10 was 820. First was 1020. Since my IW is cover complete, I didn't go for 1k. Had I known no one was gonna push so hard, I would have tried to go for that Yellow Fury. Finished #25 with 710 pts. Didn't want to buy a 3 hour shield just to secure Top 10.

    I didn't think about the pve subs when I picked an end time for the pvp, and I had to jam my final pvp grind in right after clearing 2 subs first thing in the morning, then go right back to grinding. I hit 700, and was going to go for one more match before I shielded, but upon seeing there were 2 minutes left and I'd gotten nailed back to the high 680's, I said screw it and just let it go without a shield. T50 instead of T25, but no shield expenditure, and I certainly didn't need the T25 cover anyway, so I guess it works out.

    Wow, I picked the wrong slice then. Mine still has about 6 hours to go and the top player has 1545 points.

    Is there a strategy to choosing your time slice? I usually just choose what works best for my work schedule (usually ending around 9 or 10PM PST).

    I joined 1.5 hour before the end in a bracket with 150-170 players. #1 was around 550. After 1 hour I was 600+ and left the game because I didn't care about the rewards. One defensive win pushed me to 632 and this was enough for a top 5. #1 in final ranking was Katai with 785. 150HP and 7-8k ISO for 1 hour of gaming. This is what I call quality time. icon_e_biggrin.gif
