Friends Unable to Find Alliance in Search

Hello,

I am a member of a private alliance. The alliance name is short, only three characters. Months ago, there was no problem finding the alliance via search, but now it appears that lots of results come up, but none match our alliance. We want to fill up the slots with our friends, but it is currently impossible because the search interface will not display our alliance. The alliance is not full. Our friends enter the exact alliance name, but it shows only alliances which contain those characters rather than the alliance which is an exact match.

My friends put in tickets, but they haven't been helped. Any ideas on what we can do to get things going again?
