I know I have experienced it, and I have heard others complain about it as well.

Is there any known exploit that lets people consistently win matches twice as fast as their opponents? I have quite a few maxed 141 characters that have gotten farmed twice as fast as I can kill when dealing with retaliations. If it happened just once, or was not consistent I would not question it as I have gotten blessed boards before, but when I am in a retaliation war with someone and they are able to hit me six times in the time it takes me to hit them three, it makes me question this quite seriously. When I see others on the forums complaining about the same people I have to come to one of two conclusions.

1. They are just super fast and match like no ones business. (I may not be the fastest in the game, but I am certainly not slow)

2. They have found some exploit or hack and are abusing the game.

  • Just do a google search. One hit kills and infinite health right at the top. Probably explains some things.

Yeah, I suppose, he is not the only one, and I do not buy the explanation. outlining basic strategy as if it is coming down from on high does not explain it. I play on a PC as well as mobile and can tell you that a PC is not a magical advantage.

Guess there are some cheats out there. shame, devs better lock it down quick.
  • Why would you spend money and still cheat?

Dat epeeeeeen looks good when its big.

    Lol
  • Question really is would they ban one of their biggest spending customers?
  • If it were up to me, I'd ban cheaters who don't pay permanently, and if they paid once in their lives, I'll give them a day or two ban time.

If you don't ban cheaters, you stand to lose legit players, especially paying ones. But I don't recommend perma-banning anyone whose wallet is open.

So if they cheat and don't pay, those are the ones who stand to do the most damage. Ban em perma.

Yeah they would, $600 is a drop in the bucket compared to the loss of confidence.
  • Doesn't seem to be the case eh. They've been running wild for well over a month now.
  • Hmm, a brief search reveals a lot of cheats for Steam version though I've never personally tried them.

Maybe we should separate PC and Android/IOS users?

How nice of you for not naming them so they can still enjoy the game.

Cheaters don't deserve to enjoy the game.... If you can't win fair and square GTFO...
  • Nobody has suggested that he lied about spending any money? If he really is hacking, it's not that hard to hack HP and ISO. maybe it would be cool if you could have a replay of the attack when you view your retaliation so you can see if everything is legit.

Yeah, I dunno, maybe back before the rag nerf, but even with using all the boosts, it takes me about minute to finish matches where everything lines up, and the opponent only gets a couple matches. Whereas the other person we're not naming was able to do a 2nd fight in literally the amount of time it took me to do a half dozen skips

Just as a general note: If you're cheating, you're cheating. We don't care if you've spent zero or a thousand bucks. We'll take action if you cheat. Period.

It's a gamble. They may leave never to return, or they may start again spending up from zero.
  • Until the Thorverine fixes go through, attempting to detect abuse based on how fast someone wins would be difficult. A lucky cascade can entirely legitimately end a boosted match using those guys in a matter of seconds. And you don't need that much luck to start spewing crits if you got from 6 to 18 red within two or three turns.
  • Jacobpc, thereck are two who I'll name. I've been in retaliation wars with them and they undoubtedly cheat. F*uck 'em.
  • Yeah cheating should be against ToS in any game, doesn't matter how much $ you spend. Account ban is standard
