redundant covers

i know that it's random, but there's gotta be something that can be done with covers that are maxed out for characters. the last 4-5, 2-star covers i've gotten have been useless to me because the abilities are already maxed. maybe have some way to change the ability associated with the cover with hero points or iso-8?
