Playing game on multiple devices.

I was wondering if anyone could enlighten me on a question about playing your save game file between separate devices. My question is; if I have a samsung tablet that I'm currently playing the game on, BUT want to get an Ipad, can i make the change over to the different Operating System? I do have my account linked to facebook, but just wanted to make sure that I could switch from android to apple without it screwing something up. Any help would very much be appreciated.

To my knowledge, the only restriction is going from Mobile to Steam. You should be able to play from iOS to Android
  • Thank you very much for the info! icon_e_biggrin.gif
  • I switched from a Samsung s4 to a iPhone 6 seamlessly via the Facebook account so I would think the tablets would be just as easy.
  • Thanks Epic, having you verify this also, makes me feel a lot better!

There should be no problem if you want to switch permanently. But if you want to go back and forth between 2 or more devices, then you will have to play a couple of tutorial matches first before you can load your game. The only thing is having to replay the Ironman35 vs Doom where the game pauses inbetween every move and tells you what move you have to make next. Kinda boring, but it's only 2 short matches. And you only have to do it once everytime you switch devices.

PS. This is how I have done it playing 2 accounts. If there is a way to skip the tutorial altogether, can someone let me know. Having do the tutorial over and over and over and over is really boring! icon_lol.gif
  • also, while you can have two devices with same account, no account can be played on more than one device at a time (simultaneously). other than that you are OK.

That's weird. I switch back & forth between an iphone 4s and an ipad mini sometimes multiple times per day and never have had to replay the tutorial, it just prompts me that i've been logged out by another device and "press ok" to log back in on the current one.

I play on a Samsung Galaxy Tab 3, Galaxy S2, That may have something to do with it.
  • I got an Ipad mini for my kids and just wanted to be sure that it would be good to go, to finally get them off my **** work tablet and on to something that is more reliable. Thank you everyone for the feedback, it means a lot!
