Once again losing points in PVE score

Just as it happened in Prodigal Son, it's also happening in deadpool v heroes. Here's what happened:
I started the game, and went to PVE screen. I completed the "look who's essential, two" node, and after tallying, my point total showed as 3940. I note this because I was just 60 short of hitting the 4000 mark and earning a gold token. So then I completed the other essential node, and after tallying my point total was only 38-something!! I had LOST points by completing a node!!! This seems to happen on my first two nodes of a session. I have an open ticket about this, but d3p are ignoring my updates and requests for a fix, or even acknowledgement of the problem!!
